My 2005 Volvo had been serviced at Lawrence Volvo in Walnut Creek, I live in Oakland and worked in Walnut Creek. I had written a letter to Lawrence stating I was unhappy with service; having spent $500.00 and no idea what was actually done. I still have no idea. My car needed a Volvo bulb sold only at a dealer, I was close to Berkeley and went to McKevitt for the first time. Mike in the service department told me exactly what to purchase in parts, had me purchase the headlight bulb, installed it, reset my dashboard alert, filled my washer fluid, advised me on a window reset and informed me that my driver door was not properly closing. This side of my vehicle was hit 2 years ago. Mike suggested I contact the body shop, if needed they could contact him. I advise physicians on customer service and how important it is for business not only in growth but sustainability, clearly McKevitt recognizes this also. Mike made me feel like I was an old friend and I was only picking up a light bulb!!

Don’t go here if you don’t have to. TheY will over charge you for the work that needs to be done. Example: 850.00 just for an alternator and still they didn’t fixe the problem. The battery light is still going on. You would think If you take your CRV to the dealers that specializes in Honda’s they would at least know how to fix the problem after over charging you.

What a team! Kristian and Dominic are great service advisors. To me they are the "face" of Merced Hyundai. They always clearly explain the service that needs to be performed (and service that does not need to be performed). I have been helped by both of them. AND today I got a free car wash without any charges for service!

We have 3 Mercedes now and bring our cars to her because she makes a difference. She is the reason we stay with Mercedes, hands down. She should get a promotion. Just had to write a quick review. I was in Santa Barbara on business and my tire light went on. I stopped by the dealership- unannounced- and though they were busy, Dylan came out and asked what he could do to help me. When I told him, he said, "No problem." He took my keys and did a tire check and added a little air. When he came back, he asked if I wanted the car washed. No charge, just appeared this is the way they handle all their customers on a day to day level. Kudos. This is what customer service is all about. Dylan made me feel like I always wanted to feel when I bought a Mercedes-Benz. That does not happen at every dealership. If you are in Santa Barbara and need automotive help, I would strongly recommend this dealership.
