I just purchased a used polestar 2 and this was my first experience with a polestar service center . I made an appointment at the nearest service center to try and resolve some issues I had with the vehicle . I live in orlando and drove 1.5 hours to tampa to have the vehicle looked at . I was met by my advisor who abruptly explain that the issues I noted when making the service appointment were not covered under warrenty and there was nothing he could do for me and basically turned me away . I also had other concerns about the vehicle that I had to mention after being turned away in order for the advisor to take a test drive with me and investigate. A cluncking noise from the rear after acceleration , ac noise and software version on the infotainment system was out of date. Eventually the advisor took my vehicle and was able to provide a rental so I could drive back home . I called the advisor several times for an update and my phone calls were never returned . Finally I reached the front service desk and was able to have a message relayed to the advisor and after two weeks Finally got a call that the vehicle was ready . Picking up my vehicle was another challenge as I waited about an hour in the service center before I could leave with keys . The ac issue was resolved , software levels were current on the infotainment issue but I was extremely dissapointed when pulling off only to hear that the cluncking noise in the back was still there . The advisor told me they found an issue with the break pads sticking and that they cleaned the pads and turned the rotors . If that was done and the problem was not resolved why was the vehicle returned to me . Why was there no attempt to look deeper into the brake pads sticking ( switching the pads and rotors , faulty break caliper) . I was happy to have my car but extremely disappointed in the service I recieved . Less than a month ago I thought I made a great purchase on a nice car . But im beginning to understand why the car line is struggling and wondering if I just made a bad purchase and entered into a long relationship with a horrible service provider . What good is a vehicle under warrenty if the service being provided is subpar and evasive . I'm seriously considering ditching this boat anchor before I go underwater with the ship.
