Bought a new van there. Called for a service appointment. They don't schedule oil changes. Was told the service department is quick, takes about 1/2 hours in and out. Drove 1.5 hours only to be told it was a 3 hour wait. Worst service department ever

9/11/2023 Disappointing Service and Lack of Resolution I recently brought my RV to Landmark Ford Truck Service Center in hopes of getting my AC unit fixed. Unfortunately, my experience with their service was far from satisfactory. Upon their initial inspection, they informed me that my AC unit was low on Freon but not leaking. I trusted their expertise and paid the hefty $290 service charge, hoping that my AC would finally start blowing cool air again. However, to my dismay, the problem persisted even after their supposed repair. When I reached out to Landmark Ford Truck Service Center to request a reevaluation, they said they would look into my complaint and get back with to me with to do further diagnosis to determine the issue and come up with a resolution, to date I've not heard back from anyone regarding my complaint. This lack of willingness to rectify the situation left me feeling incredibly disappointed and frustrated. As a customer, I believe in giving businesses the opportunity to correct their mistakes. However, Landmark Ford Truck Service Center's unwillingness to address the ongoing issue with my RV's AC unit has left me with no choice but to seek assistance elsewhere. I expected better service and a resolution from a reputable service center like Landmark Ford Truck Service Center. Their failure to deliver on their promises has not only inconvenienced me but also left me out of pocket for a service that didn't yield any positive results. Based on my personal experience, I regretfully cannot recommend Landmark Ford Truck Service Center for RV repairs. It's important for customers to be cautious when considering their services, as my experience suggests a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction and effective problem-solving.

It is second time that I work with Ryan Hurlbutt but for some reason he is not listed as a part of the Service Department. I consider him as very sincere, honest and hardworking member of the team. Always does what he says. Makes people feel good about the dealership. In my time being a manager I was collecting people like him for my department. Nowadays it’s a rarity.

No Communication! - JEENA

My tire pressure light came on this morning, so I called service to see if they can take a look at my car and if needed to put air in my tire. I went to the dealership service area and the guy "sure, we can take a look at it". I waited for a while, which was perfectly fine. After a while, I see my car pulled up and I noticed that they washed my car. I go to meet the person bringing my car and he says "your car is ready and good to go". I say, "well what happened to my car? who gave permission to wash my car? what was the tire issue, and what was done to fix it?". He said, "oh someone should have spoken to you about it." I said, "no, no one did". At this point, I inspected my car, specifically the hood of my car (which I will explain later). I saw some immediate fine scratches. I was pissed. So I went to talk to the person who originally took my car. I asked "what was done to the tire of my car, how did the problem get resolved and who gave the permission to wash my car?" He didn't have any idea what was done to my tire, so he had to go ask. They told me that, my rear passenger side had a nail and they plugged it for me. I said okay fine. But who washed my car? He said we did, it was complimentary. I said, I never asked for a car wash. I brought the car in for a simple check up of my tires and for someone to tell me what is going on and to consult with me on what I needed done or how to proceed. I then began to explain to him, why I was very upset about the car wash. I have only gone to Napelton Mazda dealerships since I bought my car in September 2017. I only went to Arlington Heights Napelton Mazda for oil change services and noticed that I had several scratches on my black vehicle that was even on both sides of my car, which could only be explained by car washes. Therefore I decided to pay out of my own pocket to a very nice auto body show, who did water sand washing and buffed out my scratches on my hood only (because I did not want to do the entire car at the time) and made a decision at that time that I would never take my car to get washed at a dealer and I had not washed my car since I got it buffed out. I saw scratches immediately on the hood of my car, after the Napelton in Libertyville washed my car without my permission. The man that helped me, said "his car wash is brand spanking new" and therefore it could not be their car wash that caused this. He was rude, and made everything seem like it was my fault. Then went on to say how I should be happy because they fixed my tire, which had a nail in it and they plugged it for free which it should have been a $30.00 charge. I said, I did not ask you to perform a service for free, I will pay for it if you would like. But at no time, did anyone consult with me that there was a nail and whether I wanted it to be plugged or what we should do or how we should proceed. Nor did anyone ask if I wanted a car wash. It is not the dealers right to perform such services and or acts to my car without my permission. I am furious at the service and incompetence of Mazda Napelton. I will NEVER recommend anyone to come to your location. I came to this location when I first started looking at purchasing a vehicle last year and I felt the people were rude and unhelpful at this location and therefore we went with another dealer. I love my car and take care of it. I am so upset that this dealership service people were rude. I have had numerous issues with the Napelton family and the way they take care of their customers.

I had great first time service experience with Dylan Knobloch as my service advisor. He went through everything I needed to know including where to take my car to have get worked on and what they be checking over everything to make sure it was all good. Oil change and tire rotation was quick and done right. Very happy customer and looking forward to doing more business!

Keep my Lincoln Town Car for 20 years. - MARIE BAYLES

I did not buy my 1997 Lincoln town car at Grossinger Motors but when I did need to service it, which was very seldom, Grossinger did a great Job. I was able to keep the car for 20 years thanks to the great mechanics they had. Thank You, MFB Normal, Illinois

Traveling from Indiana to Mississippi on 57 South we has a the lug nuts and wheel come loose. It was about 2:00 pm and we were needing to find a place to work the vehicle in so we could get the repair done and back on our way. We searched the internet and used the Garmin and found a tow service. The tow service was from a small shop that couldn't fix the car until the next day and that would mean a overnight stay and pay for another motel room, one was already paid for at our destination. The garmin lead us to Linwood Motors and the internet gave us the phone number. Chad answered the call and said when the tow truck picked us up on the interstate we would be about hour and half out but he would work us in. When we arrived at Linwood they worked us in and we were on our way by 5:00. They were kind and very understanding about our situation. They have a verky nice facility and I was impressed with the way they treated others who walked in while we were they.
