I recommended this dealer to who need to look for a great used car. They included in a comprehensive 3,000 mile warranty and suggested I reach out to them if I ever needed help again. I took them up on that offer a few weeks later when I noticed a minor issue with the vehicle, and they were super helpful in fixing it and they displayed genuine interest in making sure I was happy with my car.

The vehicle i purchased had problems from the beginning. None of the windows worked due to bad motors, only half of speakers in vehicle for stereo worked among other more minor issues. Dealer did pay for speaker repair. In under 3 months engine has failed and i am out a vehicle. Because it was no warranty, sold as is, the dealer said he will not assist in any way. If this was a sporadic issue i would understand this but its not. I contacted a mechanic and the mechanic has a friends vehicle in his shop that he has to rebuild the engine also. Guess what, that customer also got his vehicle from New Life Auto Sales. Look at their history. They are snakes and crooked. Many friends have also told me of negative experiences with them including major car failure shortly after purchase. The Christian and Faith based business they bring up and claim to be is simply a cover up. They sell ALOT of trashed vehicles in a sneaky manner, none obviously are checked thoroughly. Spread the word to all, do not buy here, do not look here, dont even go here. This business needs to fail and go out of business and im sure they are on their way.

If you are considering purchasing a Used or Classic vehicle from Nottingham Automotive, I would strongly suggest a Pre-Purchase Inspection. I purchased a vehicle that was photographed on their Showroom and was listed as REBUILT, IN GREAT CONDITION & SAFE OPERATING CONDITION. I was able to negotiate a fair price with the selling dealer and myself. After making an online purchase, wire transfer of funds in full, and having the car transported over 1,000 miles, only to receive the vehicle and be disappointed to find out the car needs additional drivability and safety repairs consisting of : New Starter New Brake Booster New Brake Lines New Front Suspension / Tie Rods And Ball Joints Replaced Non-Working Horn New Spark Plugs And Wires New Distributor Caps And Points Needed Valve Adjustments / Due To Low Compression New Fuel Filer New Air Filer Carburetor Adjustment After contacting Nottingham Automotive following the delivery, I was advised that they were unaware of any problems or safety issues related to my vehicle and Nottingham Automotive would not help or assist with any of the additional costs of needed repairs. After spending an additional $6850.00, I'm still waiting to find out the outcome of the valve adjustment and if the cylinder heads need to be removed and repaired or replaced? *****MAKE SURE IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING PURCHASING A VEHICLE FROM NOTTINGHAM AUTOMOTIVE THAT YOU INSPECT THE VEHICLE YOURSELF OR PAY A 3RD PARTY FOR A PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION.***** ***UPDATE*** 03/28/2022 All valves had to be reseated and hone and still the engine isn't running correctly. We recently were looking for a good used car with low miles & came across Pendleton Pike Auto Sales from the CarFax site. They had the exact car that we were looking for, 2015 Ford Edge Sport, with low miles & a very reasonable fair price. We sent them a note about our interest. Mike sent us a note back inviting us to stop by. We did the next day. Mike was very pleasant. & had the car ready for us when we got there. The car was much better than our expectations. Much nicer than others we had looked at. The detailed pictures & description was spot on. The car drove out nice, was very clean & detailed. Actually it looked brand new. Mike Hannah was very easy to talk with & deal with. He went above & beyond in our opinion to get us great financing. Actually a better deal that we had set in place. He also met our price that we wanted to meet. We love our car & have been driving it trouble free for a few weeks now. We took it on vacation & had a great time. Everything works perfect. We had a great experience & highly recommend. Stop in and see them. They have a large selection as well.

I wrote a review with glowing remarks some weeks ago but after fulfilling the agreement Prime Auto fails to fulfill their end. First, I was only supposed to provide Lien Release in order to received the $2,000 trade in difference for my car. Then, when I provided the Release, I was told they made a mistake, over valued my Cherokee. Except, they lied and continued to lie telling me that the computer auto populated information when this was not true - Tony and I specifically sat down together and went through the options. The value on our contract is the FAIR value on the car listed on KBB. But, they continue to deny this very fact. And, they continue to hold onto my $2000 first telling me that they want the title. Now, they want the title and require it to be titled in Arizona before they will honor their agreement. I've had to spend $1,300 in repairs to my Wrangler due to a dangerous safety issue - death wobble. They didn't offer to reimburse. They will say they could have repaired it for cheaper, fine...I'll accept a cheaper reimbursement, bu they won't. They continue to lie about the trade in value - you can look it up yourself at Kbb.com 2016 Cherokee basic 4cylinder latitude, fair value is 14,500 which is on the contract but today the owner told me 13,000. I'm still waiting for that screen shot Daniel. I'll be out in front of their dealership protesting the remainder of the week as I forward this claim onto the Department of Transportation Inspector Generals office where a good friend and Veteran works. I also revoked my power of attorney, enjoy trying to title the Cherokee. Don't buy a 2016 Cherokee from them, they don't own the title properly. They tried telling me the Power of Attorney I signed for the Title offered them no recourse to obtain title or validate information on the title, when it does. They lied and continue to lie - what is it about the Wrangler that has you wanting it back so bad I wonder? Is it something with that title? Something with a part on the car? I'm sure I'll find out but the sheer fact they attempted to guilt trip me into reducing my trade in price by claiming a computer error and then lying about the actual trade in value is ridiculous. There is something fishy about this dealership and I expect the bait and switch (failed) tactic to have official charges drawn and perhaps, like some other dealerships that the Department of Transportation shared with me, they will see the same fate with an order to cease operations while an investigation and potential fraud charges drawn. This can all be resolved of course if they fulfilled our original agreement, I have the lean release, you have my money... I let you know the options, your choice was to materially change a contract without consent which is a material breach and I can now recover damages in excess of the $2000 owed and I plan to - that is, unless they decide to understand the errors of their ways in which I'll gladly reduce this review and cease all other avenues to recover.

I purchased a used 2007 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer with cash, Within 12 hours of purchase the transmission went out and I had no vehicle! I called and sent an emails. When the employees could do nothing because of the owner and saying the paper work for the warranty wasn't in effect yet SO it wouldn't cover it, SO it was pre-existing! I emailed the owner, he responded by saying he doesn't make any money off vehicles he sells and will do nothing. He wouldn't even discuss a mutual solution, so now to invest another $1,800.00. I informed him I would review him and let everyone know to beware! I did find another car buyer that reviewed them and they had a transmission break in two days! If I could have given him "no stars" while reviewing him,I would have!

So, I bought a car from this dealership. I was warned by a dealership friend of mine, that they are shady and be careful. I should avoid them. Jeremy and Bill at the S&H portrayed a very good picture, but there was lot of rushing on going on their part. There was something not quite right. Got me to put a down payment on the car of 2k. Now I am roped in. I drove the car, felt really good. But here it comes. Two days of buying the car. The first shock came at 12 am in the night. It was raining heavily. I was driving home and suddenly; all my lights came up. The car stalled. I got it started and tried to get it parked in a safe spot as it did not feel right that it is going to go 12 miles to my house. And yes. It stalled again not to start. I called tow truck and moved it to their dealership. This was Friday night, going into Saturday. I texted them first thing in the morning and went to see them. Told them, what happened last night and was told that nothing would happen till Monday as it was Saturday. I was OK with that. They said, they will take care of it. Monday came, alternator was the culprit and it got fixed on their dime. I mentioned that car has alignment issues in my texts, but they totally ignored that request. I was back with the car. I am praying, please work out. I love the car and everything about it. But 3 days later again on Friday, I heard a whirring noise and the alignment issue being more observant. Texted them about the situation, knowing it would be on me to pay for any expenses that might happen, but after selling me a xxxxty car for 10k, there was no sense of urgency, empathy, or courtesy to get to my car first thing in the morning. I was told since I got an As IS vehicle, burden lies on me (I have bought AS- cars in past and the dealerships have taken responsibility in the first week and have been considerate, but not these guys-very shady bunch of people). My story is not over here yet. So since, I had no trust in these shady people any more (I am also apprehensive about the fact that I did not go to them, but I have lost the faith in them and also wonder, how I will react to this distrust and my misfortune. I also did not feel that the time I will be spending with them will be also terrible. They lost my trust completely), I decided to go to Firestone and guess what. $3200, is my bill for all the repairs for a 1-week-old car. If they would have done their due inspection, the cost would have been half as I am now paying labor on top of parts. Bill answers" The van checked out great when it went through our inspection, unfortunately it's a machine and it's going to break which is why we offered a warranty as no mechanic in this world can see into the future. Let me tell everyone, WHAT UNFORTUNATE (ALREADY THERE) ITEMS WERE FAULTY: FRONT BRAKE JOB WITH FLUID EXCHANGE (DISC) BRAKE PADS, CALLIPERS, ROTORS ($964) STEERING AND SUSPENSION-THEY REPLACED BOTH TRAILING ARMS ($670) ALIGNMENT SERVICE ($209) I am scheduled these two: STEERING & SUSPENSION ($823) WHERE THE OVERLOAD HELPER SPRING IS BAD. It has to be removed and replaced- both rear springs. SHOCKS ON ONE SIDE IS DAMAGED ($650), so both have to be changed. NOW I AM WONDERING ALL THIS JUST GOT DAMAGED IN MY ONE WEEK OF DRIVING? ABSOLUTELY NOT. THIS IS S&h INSPECTION. WHAT AN INSPECTION?????????????? SO, TO CONCLUDE, my recommendation to fellow buyers is not to help small and close to home dealership, because it's all about money to them. Pathetic service. Buyers beware!!!! I should have listened to my friend, when he told me about their dealings. But you know what, I was going to give them a benefit of doubt as they put in the best foot forward, only to be totally trounced by their untrustworthy behavior. Very bad experience with this dealer. Bought a car over the phone at 9am today, Bill the salesman was very professional and took extra pictures and answered my questions. He asked if I wanted it and I said yes, so they charged my credit card $1000. I asked how they wanted the balance paid, they said wire it, so fine. Today was President's day so the banks were closed. I called and told Valerie Nazimek the finance person that it would be wired first thing Tuesday when the banks opened, 9am. They called at 5 and said they took a cash deal (which i doubt) and so I lost the car. This was after sending me a congratulatory text on buying the thing this morning. Why take my $1000 and not follow through with the deal? Most unprofessional transaction I've ever been through. Thank you for wasting my time. I'm sure because I'm from Iowa you didn't give this a second thought because you'll never have to look me in the eye. Well if that's the case you shouldn't post on cars.com if you don't want to work with non-local people. If I could give this dealership negative stars I would do so. I feel bad for salesman Bill, he had to leave me a voicemail explaining this whole fiasco. Bill if you read this go get a job with a dealer who has some integrity!

Outstanding experience. Mike and Josh are great. Good selection of quality used vehicles along with warm, friendly, genuine service. The financing was easy and painless. I bought my 2006 GMC Envoy Denali on Saturday. As luck would have it, the rear suspension air compressor died on Sunday. I expected them to tell me to take a hike, however, they had me bring it in and sent me directly over to Goodyear to get the issue resolved. This is a big deal because the paperwork I had signed the day before was for an "as is" vehicle with the good faith free warranty for 30 days or 1000 miles which covers the engine/transmission. They didn't have to make it right, but they did. I would recommend this dealer to anyone, hands down. They just made a customer for life.

I purchased a used car at the end of December on the way home the abs light came on and the traction control light also neither of these things worked. I reported it to the dealership the very next day they had me bring it back in to have it checked out. I was told while test driving it that it had a warranty. As it turned out it has $650 in repairs and the dealership expects me to pay half. They supposedly did an inspection on the vehicle I don't understand how this could have been missed. I will never do business with them again. Very disappointed.

I went to Walters in need of a reliable vehicle and have been scammed. First off let me tell you that at the time I had no credit and had never bought a vehicle from a lot. I went to Walters and applied and was approved. I told them the type of vehicle I needed and was only shown one vehicle and one vehicle only! I accepted, being in a bind and starting a new job I needed a reliable car. Upon going over the paperwork I was told they (included) a Autosave warranty. Meanwhile they dragged out how long I was there and stalled knowing I had to go to work. Upon review of the paper work I was charged 2300.00 for a worthless warranty and called to cancel the same day. They said to me the bank would not approve my loan without the warranty! Three days later I went to the bank and was told they do Not operate that way and never have. I have filed complaints with the BBB and attorney generals office to no avail. STAY AWAY!!!!!

He only offered a $3000. trade in on our vehicle which we later sold in only 2 days for $7000. The vehicle we wamted was listed originally for over $17,000. The bank we went to finance thru said book value was only at $14,000. We offered $13,000. and were denied then treated very rudely. We will never go back!

I have nothing but good things to say about this small dealership. 1st off Chris Bailey realy worked with me on the price of my Durange and gave me what I thought was a very fair priIce..... Then more imimportant "After The Sale." I had a few small issues with it ( kind expected on a used viechel) I dealt with Frank on this, he truly took care of me. Took it back to the service dept and fixed it with no questions. They realy seamed concerned that I was satisfied with my purchase They truly stand behind there cars and take care of there customers. One always worries about buying a used car from a small dealership,well let me tell you, there are now worries with these guys.
