Bought 2019 Travato mid Jan turned Out to be white elephant - Disappointed Sandy
After good help in buying. It had 29k miles for a 2019 vehicle Reviewed the photographs some 170 of them and decided this one had way too much wear. Tried to change to another same 74,900 price but it was sold to another. I asked for my down payment back, it was 5000, I realize I made way too big a deposit but was emotionally charged from the recent death of my husband to buy this as the new ones were over 120000. I found out later they could put large discounts on them, but that was not explained to me until I convinced them I was not going to complete the sale. 75 k was my limit and this was 15k over that. I have written and asked for my 5000 back minus a 1300 charge that had not done yet to put coating on exterior and interior. I thought that was fair. Three weeks later that high mileage 2019 is still on market. And they are not talking to me.
I was in real estate sales for 36 years and if I had a client that early on could not buy due to their inability to deal with the condition of the property, I always saw that they got their deposit back, and most remained my customers. I wanted to deal with thi.s dealer, close to my daughter in Minnesota but unless I get my money back I feel they are more interested in their current bottom line than future business. If people like you they usually recommend you at least 4 times. And that gets around .If they think you are just following your monthly sale returns and not your customers best interest they tell 12 people. And that really gets around . I will still be in the market later for larger RV but under these conditions could not use these people

The make promises, sells warranties, and then do not honor the warranty. I
They charge close to $1000 for a pre-purchase inspection- but don’t really do one. How else could they not notice they panels were not attached, or no one bothered to clean up tons of putty oversmear and items are working - or simply an thick layer of dust/debris on counters.
Lemon is the only word to describe the new camper I got.
Before I even used it once , - after I had to take it back due to defects in panels and they gave me the wrong keys, - when I received it back - without the panels fixed - I opened the door to the bathroom to find the vanity laying on the bathroom door - fallen and smashed a hole into the back of the bathroom door. Broke the shower track, damaged the vanity and other issues. — that was approaching two months ago. — it still is not fixed!!
I have a lost of items, including those that I pointed out before accepting the vehicle, and they are still not fixed - despite the bumper to bumper warranty I’m supposed to have and the other warranties they sold me to compliment that one.
Did I mentioned I’ve spent over 12 hours in a car cumulatively spring back and forth to the dealership to try and resolve this and a huge gas expenditure. Have they sone anything to compensate me - no!
Then to simply this I asked them to text off this lemon - they had the audacity to offer me almost 30% less than I paid just 2-3 months ago!!! Seriously!!!! Who are these people?
In short- never buy from any camping world anywhere!!! Period!!!
With all the hidden fees, lack of warranty compliance, and simply the worst experience of my life - stay away.
