Plain and Simple,...the Service Department cares. They went as far as pulling up "ALL" records of recalls and even talked to Porsche of North America on my behalf to keep my costs as low as possible. Lastly, they are "ALWAYS" very informative about preventive maintenance on my vehicle along with being very patient with all inspections to be at times 99.9% accurate with the proper diagnosis and solution.
Dealer has done a good job with my Panamera - germancarguy123
I have a Panamera 4S and it's a wonderful car but it's needed some front suspension work partly due to a pothole hit and partly due to some control arm bushings being quick to fail. Phil Kaiser has been great to work with as we did the pothole work and an alignment, then found the upper control arm on the same side had an issue, then found the upper on the other side also had an issue. Three repairs and three alignments, no cost to me, and the car is GREAT to drive. Suspension issues are very hard to diagnose because I've worked for Phil's team with my Audi wagons for years and they have been excellent throughout.
It is a pleasure to visit the dealer knowing that the people are nice and the work is done right.
Phil does not know it but he's is a little famous around town. I've had people ask me if I know him while out to dinner in Chicago! High praise for a dealer service tech. I have had Porsche drivers at stop lights mention Phil's name when we started talking. I tell all the Porsche folks in Plymouth to go to Germain and talk to Phil. Also, Howard Cooper told me a couple of years ago that Danny in back is the best Porsche / Audi mechanic in the country. Nice! Do not waste time with Porsche in Farmington Hills (bad experience with an Audi) -- Germain in Ann Arbor is what everyone is looking for.

i visited this dealership to buy a large amount of parts for my BMW. the woman behind the reception desk gave me a friendly greeting and directed me towards the parts counter, but that was the only positive part of my experience.
as i approached the parts counter, an employee was retrieving a sheet of paper from the printer. he acted as if he didn't see me and hurried into the back room. i could hear people talking a few feet away, and another employee passed by me without asking if i had been helped. the most unbelievable part was that there was a sign that said "ring bell for service". there was no bell. i waited a few minutes, much longer than i've ever waited at my regular dealership. at my usual dealership, customers are valued and respected, and i've always been acknowledged within seconds of entering a department, even if i couldn't be helped immediately.
after employee #2 tried to pass me without helping me, i stopped him and asked where the bell was. he said it was missing. i left immediately. i wouldn't let people that rude and incompetent bag my groceries, let alone supply parts for my beloved ultimate driving machine. Even more shocking is that they are also a Porsche dealership. someone needs to contact the Germans and let them know what's going on over there.
Exotics - David K
I had Steve’s work on my Lamborghini Murcilago and they did a fine job and a lot less than the dealership would have charged but besides that they kept me well informed ! I just brought them my Mclaren 650 s and they did an outstanding job ! All the employees are top notch and well educated to take on these projects . And my man Steven up front the best and I’ve had a lot of cars and custom cars but he ranks at the top !! Well done all David Karpelenia

I always feel at ease when I work with Don Riley and his staff to repair my Saturn. They are honest and fully explain what must be done. The waiting room is very comfortable and the staff extremely friendky and helpful. I would recommend Suburban of West Michigan to anyone needing car repairs, tires, or looking for a used car.
