I would like to thank Dan Sommerfeld and crew for the service they performed on my 2023 QX80 January 6th and 13th. I enjoyed working with Dan he is very knowledgeable and conscientious. I came in for 30,000 mile service and they found the climate control fan needed to be replaced and the drivers seat frame needed to be replaced (it would not stay in selected position since the car was new). The service took two appointments, so I thank them for their patience and quality work.

I brought it in early for an oil change because the check - BARNESON

I brought it in early for an oil change because the check engine light was on. At the oil change station they said it was missing on a cylinder. A couple days later I brought it in. The mechanic recommended new spark plugs and wires. I agreed. The mechanic also recommended new brakes, front and rear. I agreed to the front brake job. The mechanic said it had a severe oil leak. When getting an oil change a few months back I was told it had an oil leak and I should keep an eye on the oil level. I did and the oil level did not go down much if at all. A sway bar was broken and I authorized repair. Why didn't the oil change people mention the truck needed a brake job? Brakes are supposed to be one of the things they check. I received a text with repair recommendations and I approved about half of the recommended repairs. Then I went back to the text to read the recommendations again but they disappeared. When I paid the invoice mentioned the repair recommendations I authorized but did not go into as much detail. I would like more detail about the suspension repair recommendation. It has been a good truck. It has almost 160,000 miles and has required little maintenance. Oil changes, tires, air filters, one headlight, and that's about it. Hard to believe I got to 160,000 miles before it needed a brake job.

It just so happens that I had an issue while visiting in MN. The dealership, Boris and Nick Amor, were quick to resolve the issue. No arguments and very helpful. I cannot give this same review for the other dealership in town. If you are looking for a Mercedes, this is who I trust.
