Brand-New Urus Back at the Dealer the Next Morning
I took delivery of my brand-new Lamborghini Urus from Lamborghini Las Vegas on July 13, 2026, at approximately 6:00 PM.
After driving approximately 50 miles, I was back at the dealership by approximately 9:00 AM the very next morning with the Check Engine light illuminated.
I was initially told that it was a simple software update. I later learned that a component required repair or replacement.
Because this happened less than 24 hours after delivery of a brand-new vehicle, I asked Lamborghini and the dealership to replace the vehicle rather than repair it and return it to me. My request was declined. I was informed that the necessary part had been ordered and that the vehicle would be repaired and returned to me.
To be completely fair, Lamborghini Las Vegas has provided me with a loaner vehicle, and the people I have dealt with have treated me personally with kindness and respect. I appreciate that.
My frustration is with the overall experience of leasing a brand-new Lamborghini, driving approximately 50 miles, and being back at the dealership the following morning with a Check Engine light.
I’m also interested in hearing whether other Lamborghini owners have experienced significant mechanical or electrical issues shortly after taking delivery of a new vehicle.
