I have a 2007 Pontiac G6 that has had an intermittent antifreeze and/or oil odor since day one. After about two years a dealer in northern NJ claimed it needed new head gaskets and replaced them under warranty. The odor was diminished but not completely gone. I tolerated it for a while and recently the car started dumping antifreeze on the ground. This time I brought it to Miller (they are close to where I work). They said the head gaskets were NEVER replaced and that the rear one was leaking. They covered it completely under the GM 5 yr/100k mi warranty and all the odors are GONE. They fixed it right and had to fix the work of a dishonest dealer. They were easy to make an appointment with, were very friendly and honest, gave me ride to work, gave me a loaner because the repair took more than one day and it didn't cost me a cent!
The mechanic was awesome and very honest too. I asked if I should have the antifreeze changed (60 k mi) and he said not to bother because he had to change it to do the heads. They could have easily squeezed money out of me - but they don't do that. Same experience when I brought the car there for free oil changes offered by GM. They did the job and did not try to sell me something I didn't need.
Go there for service. Go there for a car/truck. These guys are honest and know how to treat customers.
