I drove to Plattsburgh from Texas only to get 30 miles from town and my truck break down. Made it to the dealership and Della went above and beyond to get me fixed and out of there! Can’t say enough good things about em!

Not thrilled with this particular experience. My wife brought our 2018 CRV in for some recall work and to have a noise checked that was coming from the front right tire of the vehicle. The recall work went fine, but the inspection of the noise led to the brakes. There was noted "uneven" wear on the front right brake. They noted that the pad used was an aftermarket pad, and then recommended a complete replacement of ALL pads and rotors, and even told my wife and me (on two separate occasions no less, once in person and once on the phone) that the vehicle wasn't necessarily safe to drive. The job was quoted at bit over $1000. We decided to seek out a second opinion and went with a long established mechanic in our town. He inspected all brakes - pads, rotors, calipers - and noted that nothing was wrong with anything, other than maybe needing a clean and lube job. He informed us that the brakes had a good year of life left in all of them. I've gotta say, that's some sketchy stuff on Della Honda's part. Aside from factory recall work, they will NOT be receiving any business from us going forward. Even then, we will likely seek out another dealership, first. 100% DO NOT recommend this service. Recommending an unnecessary $1000 job?! Seriously?! The Della Bellas need to do better

The vehicle repair service as well as those that work in the service center are subpar at best . Training on how to treat customers with honesty and kindness would help all those in the service center . Our family will no longer be purchasing or taking vehicles for repair . However we use D’ELLA GMC and have for years for our GMC’s the staff and service team and their work is outstanding !

If I could rate below a 1 star I would. I had a very stressful experience going in to get my brakes fixed. Quoted thousands of dollars later, I asked for a trade in offer to avoid spending so much money on my van to get fixed. The sales associate was awful and not much help. I test drove a Hylander and when I came back, they fixed part of the brakes and charged me a $1000.00 after I told them I did not want it fixed because I was looking for a trade in. Their lack of communication and decency cost me heartache and frustration. I ended up at the Lia dealership across the street and they were incredible. I traded my van in with them and I will never, ever step foot into the awful Toyota dealership ever again.

Serious Poor Service by Service Dept, after the Sale - 2015driverS

If I knew today the endless struggles to with the service department, I would not have purchased my car from Doan. The service department literally broke my back hatch, it's been back three times in a year to be worked on to make it functional. I was told by the service manager that I was not opening my hatch correctly and that caused the rust spots on my hatch. No joke. Currently, I have the rust back along with paint bubbled up spots from their repaint job - they repainted it twice in the last year. Currently, I'm dealing with damaged caused to my vehicle from the ball joint breaking off with my car only having 36k miles on it. My front wheel well was damaged and my tires as well. I was told by the service representative that I needed to rotate my tires more than every oil change (which I do at every oil change - more than what is recommend), but that is the major issue with this service department - it's always the customer's fault and excuses. Never in all my years of car ownership and working with other dealers have I ever run into an dealership like Doan. It's appalling that instead of simply taking care of an issue simply and correctly and doing the right thing, that they purposely make it a struggle. I've shared my experience many times and others have admitted the same experience as well. It's insulting to be told everyday they bend over backwards for undeserving people, but because I'm deserving I need to justify why I should get my car repaired.
