I’ve bought several new fords from Deacon Jones Ford since 2001 and I was also an Employee (I left on good terms) Shane Bjoring is the best salesman I have ever dealt with. sales and finance departments are the best around. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is because of the incompetent wash/cleanup crew that prepares cars for delivery. There is generally 2-4 of them back there at a time and and it still takes them up to two hours to wash a vehicle. Additionally when I bought my new 2017 mustang GT, there were deep scratches in the trunk through the clearcoat. Instead of telling management, they used a dealer name plate to cover it up. this was confirmed when the detail crew supervisor admitted to seeing the paint damage and he was the one who covered it up. Once again, I experienced issues with the detail crew not only as a customer but as an employee. If ford would change their surveys and make delivery and cleanup a separate rating that won’t hurt the salesman, you would see a lot more complaints. fortunately, Shane my salesman had the flaws fixed in my paint. I’m overall very satisfied with the buying experience but if I was the General manager, I would Fire every single one of those guys washing cars. Just my opinion.

10.5 hours of driving for a car that the dealer neglected to mention had a motor knock; also didn't have a working temp adjustment for the passenger (although much less of an oversight than the aforementioned). I was very clear on needing absolutely any information before we made the drive. He assured me the vehicle had been through his service techs without any issues, even a final look over the day before. But when I got there, they weren't surprised by the motor ticking. His service advisor told me that it's normal, many of their Fords are known for that same sound. After looking up IS 350 engine problems, this is a $1900+ fix. They thought after our long drive (oh, and I'm 6 months pregnant), that I wouldn't leave without that car. So very deceptive. I was so disappointed.

We were on the way to the outer banks & our truck starting having major problems. They stayed late & were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend their service department.. Laurie ? & their head technician were wonderful!

Best buying experience I've ever had, they were genuinely friendly and didn't pressure me. I've shopped in Charlotte and Gastonia and hated the way I was treated. At Town Square everyone was pleasant, they answered my questions and, explained all my options. I understand they have the highest repeat buyer rate in the area, and its easy to understand why. The price I got in 5 minutes, was $1,600 less than I got in Gastonia after 4 hours. I'd recommend them and will be visiting them when I get my next truck.
