Dishonorable dealer - Foiled
I bought a new Fiat spider and before finishing the paper work on the sale, I noticed a small ding in the right rear fender. It was brought to the salesman's attention and he promised they would repair their damage. I live 100 miles from the dealership and after I drove the car off the lot they said to repair the damage I would need to return the car to them, take one day off of work and pay the travel costs to and from the dealership. They had no concern that it would cost me considerably more to bring the car to them than to pay for the repair myself. The salesman said he did not care. After 4-6 weeks they refused to arrange to have the damage repaired knowing I would not bring the car in with the money it would cost me to bring the auto to them. They then refused to answer my emails and answer or return my calls. I called the national customer service and the Fiat salesman was not truthful with customer service. The salesman told the national office they would repair the car if I had documentation which I do. However when calling them after this they refused to repair unless I brought in the vehicle. The salesman was extremely discourteous and indicated his attorneys were ready to deal with the issue if I were to take any legal action. This is the most unethical dealership I have ever been exposed to. Do not buy a car from Genesis/Hyundai/Fiat of Edmond, OK. You will wish you never did. They are dishonest with no respect for customers and give you nothing but the "run around"..
