The GM and salesperson were both combative, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. If you want to be treated like a person instead of just a number, I’d recommend going somewhere else.
I understand if a deal can’t be made—that’s completely fine—but cutting a customer off while they’re asking reasonable questions about pricing is unprofessional. Not giving straightforward answers comes across as evasive and deceptive.
If there had been transparency from the beginning about the numbers, the trade-in value, and the work done on the bike, this situation likely wouldn’t have escalated. A more honest and respectful approach would have gone a long way.
