My wife and I called about a new Wagoneer today and was... - saldivar.jeff

My wife and I called about a new Wagoneer today and was told it would be sold at MSRP. We asked what it would take to hold it for us to drive from Andrews to Monahans to which we were told $1k. We gave the deposit, drove over there, and then their GM Johnathan Jimenez said if I wanted it we had to pay over $4k above MSRP because they had that offered. Sadly enough, I gave the deposit to buy it and get there but he claimed it was to hold it only not to hold the price. What he doesn’t know is that he told the salesman it was at list price and I heard him say it. His explanation was “it’s business.” They took the deposit via phone and when I asked to return it they said the card had to be present. Finally after some persistence, the money was returned. He’s a real piece of work and I wouldn’t recommend him or the dealer for anything.

I took my car to the Denver City location because it is - Tina Dueck

I took my car to the Denver City location because it is nearest to my location. My car was only 16 days old when it began to have issues with the emissions system. I hired my son's friend to hook up the car to his code reader and it notified him that the emissions system had a hose loose. He could not find the hose and disconnceted and reconnceted them all, making sure that they were all tightened. However, the check engine light continued to turn on and off randomly. Then I began to hear a flapping noise when I drove that would change frequency when I changed speeds. I investigated but found nothing. So again I called my son's friend and he found the wire to the speed sensor loose and dangling, hitting the inside of my tire. He said the wire was partially stripped and patched it with electrical tape and reconnected it to the body of the car. He recommended that I take the car in to the dealership since it had only 3,000 miles on it and I bought it brand new. However, I am a teacher and didn't have time to take it in until 6 weeks later. I scheduled with Mustang Country because it is the closet dealership to my location. I received a call a few hours after I dropped it off. I was told that I needed to pay for the new sensor my car needed because I had hit something. Well, I had not and it was obvious from looking at my new car. I was told that a piece of tumbleweed had been removed from the area of the sensor. I was shocked that this was not covered by my bumper-to-bumper warrenty. I told them to order the sensor anyway and called the dealer in Grapevine, from where I purchased my car to see if they could intervene on my behalf to get the warrenty to cover the $278 to replace the sensor. When I went to pick up my car, I looked at what had been replaced since I was told that the car was ready to pick up. Turns out the car needed 2 sensors, 1 that was covered by warrenty and had not been ordered due to unavailabilty (what??) and the other $14 sensor that apparently cost $264 to install. The service center said they would call me when the other sensor was in and it's now been a week and I don't know that I'll ever get a call. I did talk to the service center in person and talk to them about warrenty covering normal wear and tear on the car, and they reached out to someone and decided that they would file the warrenty "a different way" to see if it would be covered. Overall, I am not impressed. I was hoping since Mustang Country was a small "hometown" dealership, the service would be top-notch. However, no one seemed to be clear on much. The technician, the service department, and the cashier are not on the same page, so I had to repeat my story and question the warrenty process several times. The only person who actually got anything done was an older lady who saw my frustration and stepped in to listen to my story (yet again).

Service Dept. - rsasm01

Service Dept. is terrible! They never called me know what they found when I took it in for issues with my 4WD.I went by and they said they could not call me as their phones were down.. mind you as I arrived they were standing outside talking on cell phones! I went by 3 times to find out what was going on with my vehicle and no one from service was there to help or could get on the phone and the sales guy- manager on duty- was rude! Their story was they could not follow up with me on a call due to phones being down at their location-When I said, "You all have cell phones!" he threw the paper with my information at me and said, " I can't help you- have a nice day"... Then- on top of all of that, They let my friend pick up the vehicle without even calling me to confirm he had permission to do so!!! REALLY????!!!! Terrible service! I bought the car from them... 2 months later I bought my son a new car- and I DID NOT buy it there!

I recently stopped by Rockwall County Volkswagen to test - Laz

I recently stopped by Rockwall County Volkswagen to test drive a VW Arteon, I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and genuinely taken care of. A huge shoutout to my amazing saleswoman Laporsha she was patient, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I was looking for. She made the whole process feel easy and stress-free, which I really appreciated. The finance managers, Drew and Azhar, were equally fantastic. They explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I got the best deal possible without any pressure or surprises. I had the opportunity to work with Drew at Audi Dallas last year and he continues to be equally as friendly, knowledgeable and overall great experience. During this transaction I worked more with Azhar, and he was equally amazing! Very detailed, and takes his time to explain all of the numbers in Finance and helps you add additional coverages like an extended warranty and GAP, but most importantly he’s very straight forward about the coverages, provides a great price for them and really is interested in what is best for the customer. Lastly, I want to thank Sam, the sales manager, for running such a professional and friendly team. Sam and stepped in and made sure I had the best deal possible. Sam did not make me feel pressure, and truly also cared about what made me as a customer happy. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a priority here, and it really shows in how they do business. I’m very happy to see this family owned dealership here in our small town of Fate, Texas. They are truly the definition of Southern Hospitality in a car dealership form. If you’re looking for a new or used Volkswagen and want a smooth, honest, and enjoyable buying experience, I highly recommend checking out Rockwall County Volkswagen and be sure to ask for Laporsha, Azhar, Drew or Sam, they were all amazing to work with.
