Terrible service department. Had my truck for 10 days and they still couldn’t give me a timeline to look at the truck to assess needed repairs. Ended up having the truck towed to another dealership.

First, I would first like to preface this review with how professional, polite, and kind John Mallory has been towards me for more than a year since moving to Huntsville and utilizing the service center at Bill Fick Ford. While it is very difficult to build relationships regarding a tool like your vehicle, it is equally difficult to tolerate disrespect and outright rude behavior, not being treated equally, and an unprofessional dress code by the lone female service advisor, first name starting with "A". Friday, August 26, 2022 I arrived at the dealership due to a re-call parts installation on my Ford Escape 4 x 4 SUV and was greeted by a more than kind baby girl sitting on this service advisors counter. This service advisor greeted me with a loud, commanding voice with a scowl on her face. I was so shocked at her unprofessional behavior that it took me a minute to gather myself to answer. When I did begin to answer, I began stuttering, losing my train of thought, which is something I never do. I was surprised at my re-action. I looked into her eyes again and looking at me angrily, she repeated the same behavior. The service department manager, JM intervened telling her, "She is here to have parts that were re-called replaced. The parts have arrived. I will take care of her". She finally stopped the behavior. I turned and went into the waiting area. About 15 minutes later, the female service advisor appeared wearing shorts that were as short as the shorts cheerleaders wear in high school. As an indigenous elder, her attire was very offensive and unprofessional for attire at a dealership; Bermuda shorts just above the knee would suffice. Today, Wednesday, August 31, 2022, I arrived at the dealership to have a "Works Package" performed on my suv. JM greeted me with respect and friendliness quickly checking in my vehicle. I walked through the door and went straight back to the waiting area. While I was in the waiting area, this same female service advisor was greeting her customers with friendliness and respect; making light conversation with everyone she came in contact with. Again, she was wearing really short shorts. She left the waiting area with two EMS first responders who came in after everyone else in the waiting room and left before everyone else. I get it. However, what I noticed again was that, she was very chatty, friendly, polite, bubbly, and respectful. When JM called me, I walked out of the waiting area behind another lady the female service advisor apparently knew to the cashier counter. "A" was walking beside the lady in front of me talking, chatting, laughing, and making small talk with her. "A" turned around to walk back to her counter, looked me right in the face and said nothing, not a word, not even a "hello, how are you"? When it was my turn to cash out, I asked the new cashier for this service advisors name. I informed her this service advisor has refused to speak to me the last 5 or 6 times I have frequented this dealership. Her jaw dropped open in disbelief. For the previous experiences I have had with the female service advisor, I am rating Bill Fick Dealership Service Department with 3 stars instead of 5. This dealership has lost my business and my trust that John and I have been working towards building for 16 months. The 5 star ratings for Customer Service, Communication, and Friendliness are for John Mallory. Treating each and every customer as an equal is of the utmost importance. Remember that were it not for customers, you would not have a business to run.

I dropped my car off at Bluebonnet Ford/Lincoln on June 18th after waiting almost 2 weeks from the time I scheduled the appointment to the actual appointment date. I unfortunately was assigned to Steven Tovar as my service advisor who from the get go had a negative attitude about "why" I brought my car there, since it purchased from another dealership. He told me that it would be about 2 weeks before they could even do the diagnostic, & since I had multiple issues it would need to go to different techs costing about $1400 in diagnostic fees. Then.... depending on what was needed, they would have to order parts, etc, etc. I really felt like he didn't want to bother with me or my car, since it was going to be warranty work, the car was older & was not purchased at Bluebonnet. He just had attitude from the get go. I asked for a loaner (3 times), which my warranty company reimburses the dealership for the use of to which he replied "we don't have rentals", & never responded afterwards. After my husband called him (by the way I would like to note that Steven said he has 26 years service advisor experience) he finally gave our first update, almost 2 weeks in of having the car there. Three weeks in & after chasing after him harder than I did my children when they were young, I got a hold of another service advisor (because Steven was out for a week), who contacted my warranty company & gave me an status update in less than 15 minutes. He stated to me that he was unable to find my paperwork & had no idea where Steven had put it. Figures. As well, I needed a factory part for my Lincoln that the Bluebonnet could not find, (don't they have access to company's that the general public doesn't?) & that my WARRANTY COMPANY tracked down. REALLY??!! A Ford/Lincoln dealership that has been in business for years, has sold thousands of cars, didn't have the ability to find a wire harness for a 2013 Lincoln? Says a lot about their abilities right there! It will be 4 weeks this coming Wednesday, & I am still waiting on my car to be ready & will probably have to chase after Steven to get the status & when I will ACTUALLY get my car back. Not sure if this is how they are in the service department across the board or if it is just the service advisor that I got, however, my advice to you is not to take your car to them unless it is for something trivial like an oil change. They seem to have really good reviews regarding that service.

This dealership and service business is now SAMES Ford, under new ownership. When checking in for our appointment, we were told there was not one and would need to wait our turn- 1 1/2 hours then 45 minutes for the oil change. I showed her the email appointment notice- date, time, confirmation. She said "that is not a guaranteed appointment, you still wait your turn in line. Appointments allow us to know how many people are planning to come, then we know how many technicians to schedule". There is no need to make an appointment at this business, plan to wait your turn.

This place really went down hill. Check Engine light and an Evap leak code. In shop four times and they changed charcoal canister-did not fix issue. Then they said a loose connector and now they just don't know and gave up. Greasy fingerprints on both front visors and ceiling, drivers door and ceiling by door and seat last time in shop. So four useless trips and over fourteen days in the shop not resolved. Service guy never available and will not return my calls. Ford Customer service on first call said take it to another dealer. So I called Tyler Ford and Scott in service would not make an appointment and refused to work on car, said to take it back to Toliver to resolve. Called Ford again and Hope would do nothing or suggest anything. My 2018 Ford Taurus is the last Ford I will ever buy. From 1984 a Ford Tempo did not ever buy a Ford until my F250 in 2012 because of issues in past and now NEVER a FORD! If I could give zero stars I would. Ford has been a good product have had 2012 F250, 2013 Ford Escape, 2016 F350, 2016 Edge, all never a problem, now this Taurus the battery died after one year and now this Evap code and check engine light-no hep from FORD, If you buy Ford stay away from this dealership. Ordered a new Evap Purge Valve from O' reillys today and hope that will fix it $43.59 and next I would try a new filler neck. Cheaper than them wasting my time and fuel! Only about 6000 miles when problem started and now just over 7000 miles-hardly drive it. Hans Schuller in Mineola Texas wrote this on my 2018 Ford Taurus.

Replace rearview mirror - Voltowner

When I requested an estimate they said they would first have to order a part. They did not give me a followup call. However, when I tried again I got good service. They set my expectations appropriately and explained that without replacing the whole door they could not eliminate a slight gap. However, the service was quick and what I paid seemed very reasonable. I don't even notice the wind noise they said I might have.
