You’d expect more from a smaller dealer. They are never in the office. Terrance had given me a price and did’t honor it 5 days later. I spent hours with emails and talking with the and the bank. Never once did he call me! After speaking in the morning and asking a second time for the bill of sale (in two days), I called again to ask for the bill of sale so it can be forward to the lien holder. He then tells me he took a deposit on the vehicle. That’s absolute crap. He should have called me and I would have put the deposit on it. Absolute b.s.!! They’re too small, no warranties and horrible service. They certainly are not helping to shed the New Jersey stereotypes!! I’d run and find a more reputable dealer with some integrity.

I recently had a great experience buying a Buick Park Avenue at Riverview. Peter was very friendly and helpful. He took care of all the paperwork and guaranteed it would pass inspection, which it did. No problems at all, couldn't have been better. My last experience with a dealer was not so good so I was very leery but felt confident with Riverview Auto Sales and as soon as I test drove the car I knew it was the one I wanted and felt comfortable buying from them. I am very happy with my choice and wouldn't hesitate to buy here again. Love my car and would recommend this dealer!

I went to Rob Jacob's Used Auto Sales to look at their selection of cars. I had minimal funds, and honestly, was new to buying cars. Being that my first car was given to me, I had no clue on how to go about buying (and the process involved). After looking at Rob's inventory, I found a car I really liked. I took it out for a drive and loved it. I asked Rob for a Carfax, everything checked out to my liking. I ended up buying the car for what I believe to be a more than fair price. The car (2001 Ford Focus SE) is in amazing condition for its mileage (125,000). Rob and his mechanic, and his secretary were so helpful and so patient with all of my questions. I am more than satisfied with my purchase, and I will definitely recommend to anyone in search (or thinking about buying) a used vehicle. I will go back myself for future car purchases as well. Great place, wonderful people. Consider checking Rob's lot out if you would like a car - you won't be disappointed.

I found the Audi A4 I was looking for on the internet. My wife was skeptical, at first, that a used car dealer in New Jersey would be on the up and up. But Art turned out to be a prince of a fellow who bent over backwards to accommodate me, picking me up at the train station with the car. I have never had such a bad experience as the nightmare I am living through after purchasing a vehicle from this place. Phil sold me a cargo van and did not tell me the vehicle ran on CNG! The vehicle was not what I thought it was and the manager is refusing to take the vehicle back. Furthermore, he shared that he currently has another vehicle on his lot that he is selling on consignment for another unhappy customer. Do your homework this place has very old reviews and there are too many sketchy things about this business. I will be filling a complaint with all consumer related agencies such as the FTC, BBB and my local congressman. I will also be retaining an attorney to solve this issue. Save yourselves the aggravation of dealing with a similar situation.

Stay Away From Buying A Vehicle From United Auto Sales In RAHWAY NJ and NEWARK NJ Shame on me for not having the vehicle I traded in for my car checked out by a REAL MECHANIC…. I BELIEVED AAND TRUSTED THEM - Big Mistake. The vehicle I got they swore up and down that there was nothing wrong and it runs great - That Is Not The Case. I have many issues with it, brakes, nails in tires, power steering, electrical and other things. They gave me temporary plates that expired and had me come back for another temporary- it took over a month to get my title and registration- I told them from the beginning I want to keep the plates I have on my car, but they did not listen and got me new plates. After numerous times going back and fourth to the Rahway location and there so called mechanic - from New York, paying gas, tolls, stress and my time….I had enough. They make excuse after excuse after excuse. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs and will be filing a small claims law suit. I have text messages from three different employees or owners, whatever they are to this car dealer. Not sure about all the other reviews they have but this is the ABSOLUTE truth about how bad these people and dealer are.

Dream truck turned nightmare. Steer clear at all costs!!! Always dreamt of being able to own and drive a F-350. So when I found one in a price range I could afford, I called immediately. I spoke to "Bob". This was an out of state Craigslist post in Oklahoma. Talked extensively with Vitale Motors, checked the car fax, as well as examined their ad closely. Bob assured me that that everything on the truck worked perfectly, nothing wrong with the truck at all. Stated the 4x4 works even works great. Believable, the truck only had about 30k miles on it. They weren't willing to negotiate price since the truck was in such great shape. He said to be honest there is just a little bit of rust underneath which is normal for its age, 1999. I decide let's go for it.  That's when the nightmare began. I used a shipper recommended by Vitale, which arrived several weeks late, and was over billed. Once I received the truck, I noticed it was leaking profusely. I take it to the Ford dealership. This truck had some serious issues. The little bit of rust actually meant that the entire underside was completely rusted and that parts were rusted off the truck. Nothing wrong with it also meant that there was very little right with it. So in order to fully disclose what you're in for if you do business with Vitale motors, here's a list of damages on my shameful and regrettable purchase. Transfer case (doesn't shift, 4wd out): $2927.90 Oil pan gasket (what gasket): $1748.92 Oil Pan (hole rusted through): $150.00 Power steering pump (out, lines duct taped in): $963.64 Shifter Bushing: $578.36 Brake lines, cylinders, brakes (rusted off): $644.76 Evaporator canister lines (rusted off): $174.12 Oxygen sensor (partially rusted off): $123.55 Exhaust and catalytic converted that rusted and fell off: $1662.28 Spare tire crank (rusted doesn't crank): $54.00 Spare tire: $325.00 Warning potential future customers the kind of business Vitale Motors is: Priceless. Currently unrepaired: rusted out truck bed, doors, as well as anything else that used to be metal on the car. As well as numerous misc parts, including the holes in the rusted frame where the motor connects to it and the broken gas line hose. P.S. The truck is still in the shop due to the extensive work, rust, and labor required multiple months now. At this point, I still haven't got to own and drive an F-350 of my own!!
