Went in for a routine oil change, and figured I should take a look in the showroom since my lease was up soon. I began my discussion with the salesman explaining I did not want anything over my current lease price. Went for a test drive and was fine, until they tried to give me a price I initially stated I would not be interested in. this is exactly why no one likes napleton. You do not listen to customers. Then tried to mask a lower price by paying so much more up front and add hidden fees- really??!!! What a bunch of scam artists. To add insult to injury, they replaced my plate frames with napleton ones without even telling me!!! I will NEVER do business with them again, and be sure to tell EVERYONE about how shady their establishment is. CJ Wilson is sorely missed.

I was calling around to every local dealership looking for a 17' Miata RF. The color I wanted was nowhere to be found. Was told at other dealers I'd have to wait till summer. Contacted Eric Cotto at this store and he simply said "give me 1 day and I will see what I can do". Well not only did he GET me the car other dealers said was impossible but he did everything in an honest way never once lied or promised me anything he couldn't deliver. Job well done! Best experience in my 46 years of buying cars.

This place is a joke. I sat on hold for 20 minutes waiting to make an appointment just to get hung up on. Then I try to do a chat to try to make an appointment. and now it's been a whole day of me trying to make an appointment with this dealership.. but it's very difficult when nobody will respond.
I tried also calling the customer service number but apparently nobody is available for me to make an appointment.
This is making Mazda look absolutely ridiculous and incompetent.. unfortunately...
the main reason why I can't get an appointment I think is because I have 3 recalls on my car and once I told them that that's when they stopped responding....

Gilvert Miramontes was fantastic! He was informative, friendly, funny and kind. He made the buying experience a pleasure. Melissa was great as well. She handled the paperwork finalizing the sale promptly and thoroughly. The dealership was recently renovated and beautiful. All the staff was friendly and welcoming. Did not disclose accidents on preowned vehicle - AngeloE17
In October 2017, I purchased a pre-owned 2014 ford mustang. When looking at it I noticed a small patch on the rear quarter panel wheel well. I asked both the sales associate I worked with Slobo, Steve Nunez, and the used car manager if the vehicle had any damage or accidents, both in person and in text. They both told me the vehicle was clean, showed me a clean carfax, and on the ad it clearly stated clean carfax and accident free autocheck. I have retained a copy of the ad and the text messages. fast forward to roughly a month ago I was looking to trade it in for a newer vehicle, as my credit had been built up. When I attempted too however it was brought to my attention that there were two police reported accidents on the autocheck and damage on the carfax that were reported on the vehicle. I contacted autocheck and confirmed they were reporting this prior to my purchase of the vehicle. They also attempted several times to auction the vehicle in the weeks before my purchase to lack of any result. I of course was not to happy with this discovery, as it set me back almost $4,000 on the car, when comparing the price they sold me it for compared to its actual damaged value. I went to Art Hill that night and spoke to the used car manager and at first he pulled up the carfax which only showed damage. He denied there was any accidents on the vehicle repeatedly, so I asked him to pull up the autocheck and he saw 2 listed accidents and immediately asked me what I wanted them to do. I told them my requests for how to correct the situation and was told to meet the General Manager, Steve Bukvich, the next day, which I did, and up to now I will say he has been very helpful and professional. I have been working on this matter with him the entire time. But my issue has still not been resolved, They offered to put me in a new vehicle and give me more for the trade than what I've been offered, but are not willing to negotiate anything that is more of a fair resolution, and I have offered many forms of remediation, even though I am currently at a heavy loss. As a result of this as well I have several more inquiries on my credit with no approval or fruition. I have asked to speak with the owner and COO, but have been declined. They have also again denied any knowledge of accidents in the autocheck and on the vehicle. I am not at liberty to say whether or not they did know, but I do know autocheck was reporting the accidents prior to my purchase, and both the salesmen I spoke too and the ad made clear mention of an accident free autocheck. It has now been almost 4 weeks of delayed negotiation on this matter. I know these things take time, but it is getting excessive. I am normally not a confrontational or heavy handed person, But this amount of time is unacceptable in this situation, I have notified the Attorney General and if that does not bring anything into fruition I will be pursuing legal action. This is not just written out of spite, or to get what I believe is fair per se, but because deceptive practices should be brought to light to let others know the risks when buying vehicle, and to take everything stated with a grain of salt. Thus I am heavily inclined to leave a one star review, with them gaining that one star purely based on how helpful Steve Bukvich has been, and nothing else.

Issues as soon as car was bought! - Helen
We went with our son to buy a fuel efficient vehicle. Bought a 2016 Sentra. Salesman and finance men were good. As soon as we left we noticed the car start to overheat. My son took the car to the services department and when we went to pick it up we were told nothing was wrong. Well on his way to work this week and stuck in traffic the car began to overheat again. Luckily he was able to get to a gas station. Checked fluids and all was good. Taking it to a Nissan dealership now. Luckily we purchased a warranty but don’t think we should have to pay the deductible on a car that was sold to us with problems. Will NOT be buying another car there again.
Update: Took car to Nissan dealership. Needed a new fan. Why couldn’t Kennedy figure this out??? Should never sold us a car that overheated on the way home from the dealership!!!!
No Communication! - JEENA
My tire pressure light came on this morning, so I called service to see if they can take a look at my car and if needed to put air in my tire. I went to the dealership service area and the guy "sure, we can take a look at it". I waited for a while, which was perfectly fine. After a while, I see my car pulled up and I noticed that they washed my car. I go to meet the person bringing my car and he says "your car is ready and good to go". I say, "well what happened to my car? who gave permission to wash my car? what was the tire issue, and what was done to fix it?". He said, "oh someone should have spoken to you about it." I said, "no, no one did". At this point, I inspected my car, specifically the hood of my car (which I will explain later). I saw some immediate fine scratches. I was pissed. So I went to talk to the person who originally took my car. I asked "what was done to the tire of my car, how did the problem get resolved and who gave the permission to wash my car?" He didn't have any idea what was done to my tire, so he had to go ask. They told me that, my rear passenger side had a nail and they plugged it for me. I said okay fine. But who washed my car? He said we did, it was complimentary. I said, I never asked for a car wash. I brought the car in for a simple check up of my tires and for someone to tell me what is going on and to consult with me on what I needed done or how to proceed.
I then began to explain to him, why I was very upset about the car wash. I have only gone to Napelton Mazda dealerships since I bought my car in September 2017. I only went to Arlington Heights Napelton Mazda for oil change services and noticed that I had several scratches on my black vehicle that was even on both sides of my car, which could only be explained by car washes. Therefore I decided to pay out of my own pocket to a very nice auto body show, who did water sand washing and buffed out my scratches on my hood only (because I did not want to do the entire car at the time) and made a decision at that time that I would never take my car to get washed at a dealer and I had not washed my car since I got it buffed out. I saw scratches immediately on the hood of my car, after the Napelton in Libertyville washed my car without my permission.
The man that helped me, said "his car wash is brand spanking new" and therefore it could not be their car wash that caused this. He was rude, and made everything seem like it was my fault. Then went on to say how I should be happy because they fixed my tire, which had a nail in it and they plugged it for free which it should have been a $30.00 charge. I said, I did not ask you to perform a service for free, I will pay for it if you would like. But at no time, did anyone consult with me that there was a nail and whether I wanted it to be plugged or what we should do or how we should proceed. Nor did anyone ask if I wanted a car wash. It is not the dealers right to perform such services and or acts to my car without my permission.
I am furious at the service and incompetence of Mazda Napelton. I will NEVER recommend anyone to come to your location. I came to this location when I first started looking at purchasing a vehicle last year and I felt the people were rude and unhelpful at this location and therefore we went with another dealer. I love my car and take care of it. I am so upset that this dealership service people were rude. I have had numerous issues with the Napelton family and the way they take care of their customers.
Service Dept.--No Follow Through - JTB
I scheduled an appointment. At the time I scheduled the appointment with the service advisor Justin K. I mentioned that I would like to have a "Master" Mazda tech go for a short ride, before leaving the car, to help me understand the issue I was hearing. I called the morning of the appointment, and spoke to Justin W. another service advisor, to conform that the technician would be available. He told me yes. So when I arrived, at 3:00 pm, for my 3:15 pm appointment I was checked in. When ERIC the "Master" technician spoke with me he told me he was not going for a test ride. I asked why and he replied" I have another appointment after you and I am picking up my child at 4". I told him that I scheduled this appointment specifically for a test ride to help me understand what I was hearing. ERIC REFUSED TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE SERVICE APPOINTMENT, AND TOLD ME JUST LEAVE THE CAR. I took my car and left. I will never return.

I usually do not take the time to write reviews however I feel the need to share my recent visit. First of all, my sales rep was Mitch. He made the point to let us know we was fairly new as a car salesman. You would never know. He was very knowledgeable explaining all the features on the Mazda CX five He took the time to explain all the features, especially to my wife. We had visited a different dealership in Schaumburg, and I must say, there was no comparison We also met the manager, I believe his name was Bill. He was very professional, polite, and actually made us feel welcome they actually matched the price we got from the other dealership, and had the car in stock. I can honestly say, this was by far the best experience we have ever had in purchasing a new vehicle
We love our new Mazda, and will be spreading the word about Roto. My family and I are grateful. Thank you Bill, you have a great staff, and really know how to make people feel welcome. They even gave us a free oil change. I would highly recommend this dealership for a new Mazda or even a Subaru. Mitch and Bill are a great team and an asset to Mr. Roto.
