I recently bought a 2015 TDI Passat se from Brandon VW. Everything seemed great over the phone, while I was communicating to the salesman. I get to the dealer and I should’ve had my friend stay, who dropped me off. I don’t recommend single woman shop here alone. They are sharks. Anytime I told my sales guy, no, no thanks I don’t need it, he proceeded to re-explain why I needed something. Very condescending to ask multiple times when someone says no, multiple times. I get that this was a no haggle dealership, but I was only able to get the internet price if I financed. There was no way around this. I had the money to by it out right, but I would’ve paid $1000 more for the car. What should’ve been a 2 hour ordeal max, was turned into a wasted 5 hours because you can’t take no for an answer. I asked the sales guy for an extra jug of DPF, he said it was going to be in the car, and I absentmindedly forgot to check before pulling out, and it wasn’t there when I got home. I noticed on the test drive, the drivers side sun visor was missing a clip, and I asked the sales guy if they could replace it, he went to ask and management said nope. Well, lucky me, on my drive home, I almost wrecked bc without the clip the sun visor flopped all over the place. I ordered the clip myself, which was $12. So I’m not sure why the dealer said no. I really regret not calling Napleton VW in sanford and just waiting to have them source me a TDI. I also found out a few days after getting home, the horn didn’t work. That almost accident I avoided was terrifying, no thanks to the dealer in Brandon. I sent a reply email, to someone at the dealer, saying they are going to have a manager reach out. No one reached out to me. I called the dealership and left a message. No call back. Would I recommend buying a car at this dealer? Definitely not. The only thing I would recommend is the TDI I bought. I really regret not buying another car at Napleton VW in sanford. That was such a nice experience, but this dealer had the TDI I wanted. More
