I was greeted warmly and the service staff was exceptional. We appreciate this Subaru dealership very much. When I couldn’t get the coffee machine to work for me there was a man to hand me a nic exceptional. We appreciate this Subaru dealership very much. I hate to write this but the overall experience my wife and I had at Ocean Subaru was "poor". I would like to talk to the actual owner of the dealership to discuss. However, to be brief, always get other and I had at Ocean Subaru was "poor". I would like to talk to the actual owner of the dealership to discuss. However, to be brief, always get other car quotes before sitting down to finalize a transaction with Ocean Subaur. Make sure you are comparing the "same" equipment. The Crosstrek, which I bought, has a number of trims. Make sure you compare "apples to apples". And, my experience with the finance department was one of great difficulty. But, be careful of the push for the "extended warranties". I was pushed to buy a whole bunch of them but had previously refused to do so. But that didn't stop them from trying. The Finance person had for some reason pushed on the electrical system warranty extension. And, guess what". My car's electrical system failed after five days. I bought the car on July 20, 2025. Five days later the system fails. And, I am then told there has been a national recall on the particular part and it is "backordered"!!!! I was sold a car with a known defective part. I have since been provided a "loaner" car. Today it is August 8th. And, no one from the dealership has called me to update me on what is happening with the car! I have had to postpone my trip with my wife but I will now just take the courtesy car and hope it doesn't fail. I now want my car replaced and some items which I will discuss with the owner. Bottom-line, be very careful and trust your gut. More
