Besides purchasing the vehicle I’d been looking for, for years this was the worst experience I could’ve imagined! The ad in Auto Trader that brought me in was misleading and in retrospect I should’ve left a years this was the worst experience I could’ve imagined! The ad in Auto Trader that brought me in was misleading and in retrospect I should’ve left and continued looking for my dream vehicle elsewhere but I didn’t and things got worse. My salesperson Joe and Riley were very nice and as helpful as could be expected but the finance guy (I believe his name was Jaime) was whom made my experience so traumatizing that I never want to buy a vehicle from a dealership, especially Queabedeaux, ever again! I’m not sure if he was overworked and having a bad day or my purchase wasn’t as profitable as others he was working on but his demeanor and professionalism almost had me in tears. I ended up signing because I had gone through so much with moving my finances around, acquiring new insurances and getting money orders together to turn back at this point. The week before, Jamie had expressed they didn’t like taking personal checks for such high amounts so when I went in for the final signing I just made the money orders out for the agreed upon amount, intending on voiding my personal check. However I had become so upset while working with Jamie and in my hast to leave his office and the dealership, I accidentally left behind my personal check along with the money order stubs in an envelope. I was told someone at the dealership found the envelope and gave them to Jamie and instead of looking at his records on my account or someone contacting me they went ahead and cashed my personal check of $5000 leaving my bank account with $193. I texted my salesperson Joe right away and he said when the finance people came in they’d call me back but they never did. I called the dealership twice later that same day and they said they’d have to look into it and would call me back. They never did. The very next day when they opened I called them again and finally got a man named Adam to help me. I drove over to the dealership to prove they had cashed my check (which was fine) and after a hour or so was reimbursed a check to correct the mistake. Unfortunately I had to work with Jamie again but this time he was very nice and apologetic and worked very quickly to remedy the mistake. I never write reviews but with the urging of my family and friends I have told the story to I decided to write one. I hope this isn’t the way Quebedeaux normally conducts their business or treats their customers but from my personal experience I would never work with them again. In fact, I’ve had questions I normally would’ve reached out to the dealership to ask but instead I have found the solutions elsewhere just to avoid talking to them again. More
