I bought my car on Dec 17, 2021 brand new a 2022 and I still can not register my vehicle or get my tag cause DMV says they submitted my car as paid in full but it isn't I'm financing 30,000 I'm paying for still can not register my vehicle or get my tag cause DMV says they submitted my car as paid in full but it isn't I'm financing 30,000 I'm paying for a car I can not drive two managers later and they fired the 2nd one too. I can't start over again with a new manager. I'm exhausted frustrated and this has ruined my life. I have lost money cause I can't drive the vehicle for work and my life is going to xxxx and this dealership has done nothing to help me in the year and 7 months I have had the vehicle. It's a nightmare that won't end. Do not deal with this company they are horrible and are now on their 3 rd manager. All idiots and scammers from start to finish. Hiring a attorney to File a law suite and complaint with State Attorney tomorrow. I'm done dealing with this. The stress is unreal. Colin (Salesman) quoted us one price, and then tried to raise the price by nearly $4k after providing both myself and my financial institution with a purchase order for the original price. If you're not willing to pay the full [new] price, we'll move on to the next customer." I reminded this dealership that consumers in California are protected under the Truth in Advertising law and that if they continued to be deceptive, I would report them to the California Department of Consumer Affairs. The "manager" Tony Plett then got involved and said that they would honor the original sales price but.... They would only honor the price until 6pm on Saturday. (This statement being made on Friday afternoon). Tony Plett has by far been the most unprofessional individual that I have ever dealt with in any industry. He has refused to provide the financial institution with a detailed purchase order, has refused to accept payments that are widely accepted (wire transfer), and is demanding that we adhere to his company policies - yet refuses to provide the company policies for review. The company policies are not listed on their website, which in itself is illegal. Tony and his crew of morons at Santa Monica Buick GMC are a bunch to avoid. I was simply trying to purchase a $100,000. A purchase that I thought would be pleasurable and would bring joy. The whole situation was nothing short of a nightmare. I strongly advise to anyone considering purchasing from Santa Monica Buick GMC look elsewhere as this placed is going to suck the fun right out of purchasing a new car. More
