Supervisors here allow substandard treatment of used car customers and make fake offers over the phone to get customers to the lot only to sell them a car that doesn't match the description online. I regret customers and make fake offers over the phone to get customers to the lot only to sell them a car that doesn't match the description online. I regret coming here: Used Car sales people are not your friends, especially these people! Beware of the bait and switch. I contacted Shawn at Owasso Classic Chevrolet after obtaining a Capital One pre-approved financing offer. They like pre-approved customers so these guys will tell you anything over the phone to get you to the lot, then show you a vehicle that doesn't match the description online and take back the deals they offered over the phone. I was disappointed that the 2018, $28,680 Lexus I came to buy didn't have automatic start as it showed online. I explained before coming that auto start was a major thing I wanted in a vehicle. Shawn made the comment to me and another witness that he would check the owner's manual to figure out if it has automatic start. He disappeared and returned saying he was unable to make the car auto start. Their idea of a remedy was to try to pass along the cost of getting a junk aftermarket remote starter installed for me. I refused their cheap offer so I guess they kept the owner's manual to punish me. Shawn also promised me a full tank of gas for making an icy 100+ mile drive in 18⁰ weather to come buy the vehicle. I decided to purchase it Shawn told me that because the $28,000 vehicle I bought was a used Lexus, he wouldn't fill the car up. So after I bought the vehicle Shawn took back the offer and I left the lot on E. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed the car manual he said he used and told me to flip through when I get the chance, was not in my car. The first call I made I thanked him for his time and asked where to find the manual and Shawn was rude and told me I got too good of a deal on my car so he considered me calling to ask for the owner's manual they misplaced "disrespect". He refused to send me a manual but condescendingly offered to Google the user's manual and read it to me or print it so I can drive 115 miles and pick it up instead. This car is also missing all the foor mats, but they of course had cheap mats hiding that so I spent money on both detailing the dog mess and purchasing floor mats. Shawn's supervisor José never showed up during the deal after we asked for him 4 times. He failed to call to follow up after calling him and leaving a message. After spending a total of 6 hours at the dealership and $28k on their car, they could have had better customer service attitudes and sent me home 100+ miles away in a clean vehicle, with a full tank and an owners manual. Instead, Shawn is a disgruntled used car salesman that thinks I got "too good of deal" so he's unwilling to help a customer he sold a misrepresented a vehicle to. I should have gone to their competition, so should you! More
