We arrived at the Porsche San Francisco dealership after having a truly awful experience at BMW for the 2nd time. I had been at BMW to buy a particular X5 they had in stock but, for the 2nd time in a row, “ having a truly awful experience at BMW for the 2nd time. I had been at BMW to buy a particular X5 they had in stock but, for the 2nd time in a row, “magically” was no longer in stock in the amount of time it took me to drive downtown - amongst other shady behaviors at BMS SF. Since I had been longing for a Macan S for years and were impressed with the respect given to us by other Porsche dealers we’d visited over the years, we decided to check out the new Porsche dealership in SF to see what was in stock — if anything — as I wanted to ensure I got one with all the details I wanted and was willing to wait or shop around to make it happen. From the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by the woman at the front desk until the moment I drove away with my children in my new Macan S, I was treated with utmost respect and kindness. Amaechi truly listened to all my must haves and was patient so I could test drive both the Macan and Macan S to determine whether or not the S spoke to my heart enough to justify the extra expense. Of course it did! The whole buying process was straight forward and fair. I truly felt like I was joining a new family and loved how Amaechi took me around to meet the parts guy, the service guys, etc. Everyone ensure my children were comfortable and I kept fueled up on fantastic lattes. Both Amaechi and Brian connected with me on my midwestern upbringing. Drew was super patient explaining how all the maintenance add-on options as these things are important to my husband. Everyone I met, even in the lounge, were truly kind and welcoming to me. It really meant a lot. I love the approach to focus on the relationship rather than on the individual sale. I’m sure we’ll be back when it’s time to replace our new-ish GLE with a Cayenne and when my husband is ready for his mid-life crisis car as well. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. (And, oh yeah, I *love* my new Macan S!! Amaeci did a great job on showing me all the features I would never had guessed that Porsche would add - like the pocket for charging your cellphone.) More
