This dealership showed a disgusting display of baiting tactics. They truly should be investigated by the FTC. I took a day off work and secured a babysitter for my child so that my wife and I could vie tactics. They truly should be investigated by the FTC. I took a day off work and secured a babysitter for my child so that my wife and I could view a pre-owned Lexus GX 460. This vehicle was priced at $42,500. After test driving the vehicle, we sat down to go over numbers. The final number ended up a few hundred dollars below $60,000! That's a $17,500 (30%) increase from the advertised price! This breakdown included a ridiculous and insulting charge of $5,000 for some inflation fee during our current economy. Which the salesperson Amber, attempted to explain, though seemed not confident presenting. This also included $1,500 for an optional LoJack system that ended up not being optional. Add another $2,500 in miscellaneous add-ons that I was not willing to pay. All of this did not include processing fees and tax, which I understand need to be paid. In the end, they baited a consumer with a price that they were not willing to honor. I did not negotiate the advertised price and was willing to pay this price, tax, title, and processing fees. Instead, I spent the morning away from my child and work responsibilities to listen to these scam artists attempt to upcharge 30% on a vehicle. Zeigler Chevrolet does not honor their pricing and clearly showcases false advertising at its finest. It continues to show how terribly these dealerships treat the consumers and shows the disingenuous employees that operate in the dealerships. I will smile at the day when they finally go under to companies like Carvana and Vroom, where we don't have to be subject to these awful tactics. I've submitted claims to BBB and the FTC based on the actions of this business. Look elsewhere! More

I drove all the way from Chicago to Schaumburg to get cheated.. The Blazer started off at $ 51000 with trade in $10500 and my payments with zero interest rate was 812.00 a month for 72 mo. Sales associates are ripping people off. They charged me $ 29,+ for a used 2018 AWD chevy equinox. The mileage was not correct. One of the salespeople was driving the vehicle home, and within 30 days, the s $ 29,+ for a used 2018 AWD chevy equinox. The mileage was not correct. One of the salespeople was driving the vehicle home, and within 30 days, the screen went out. The two front tires needed to be replaced, and the vehicle needed new back brakes and rotors. I was charged an extra $ 3000 because the vehicle was certified, which was not advertised as part of the selling price. The selling price advertised was $ 21, 500.00. The vehicle is listed as certified because no warranty covers brake pads, rotors, or tires. The sales manager was great to interact with. The service department was great as well. I had to pay $ 237.00 extra for a second key. I was told those vehicles did not arrive with two keys, nor was my salesperson Steven attempting to help me purchase one. Also, I was told and agreed to one price, not thinking I had to second guess him and was signing off on a different price. One of the finance managers ran my credit against my wishes and attempted to finance me $ 4500.00 after I told them I had all cash. Be careful with this dealership if you go there. Otherwise, look elsewhere first. Please and thank you. More

After numerous phone calls, emails, and text messages, I arrived at my scheduled appointment for a specific vehicle to test drive and purchase. Needs less to say, they need to look up the definition BAIT AND SWITCH! You can’t tell me that the salesperson did not know prior to my arrival and test drive, that a fleet company was interested in a flat purchase price of the majority of the used vehicles on the lot-including the vehicle I drove! This was also going to be a cash transaction! $18,500 (3 year old car) but…they wanted to sell it to me for a great deal of $31,000!!! All this due to a fleet company buying the inventory (allegedly) on hand and, this new pricing would have covered their fees that they incurred! Ziegler’s is a joke and should be reported to the BBB and AG! More

Went in to look at a car I saw online and from the beginning I was treated great! Amber was my so friendly and made sure to explain everything and help me every step of the way. The GM Darius Shams ga beginning I was treated great! Amber was my so friendly and made sure to explain everything and help me every step of the way. The GM Darius Shams gave us a great deal. I mentioned I had an appointment and he did his best to get us out of there quick. The dealership itself was very clean and everyone was following social distancing guidelines and wearing a face mask . Over all very pleased and happy with my experience and the car. More
