So I bought a car in March of 2024, in last than a week the engine light came on ,Took is back the fix it, two weeks later in came back on. Come to find out it was catalytic converter need to be replaced, the engine light came on ,Took is back the fix it, two weeks later in came back on. Come to find out it was catalytic converter need to be replaced, when I took it back they offered to only pay half of the cost for repairs, I was moving to a new job so I told them to get my plates and just let me deal with it because I was already stuck with the car anyway, three months later the AC stop work , then the car died on me , had to put 2000 dollars into repairs and I was warned by the mechanic that they had cut a wire in the car that would have cause a serious accident if it weren't fixed, They basically save my life, then I had to replace all tires then get an alignment later, then in June of 2025 the engine blow, the repairs were up to 4000 dollars and I had already gotten tickets and got my license suspended just keeping up repairs, I talk to capital one my lien agent because they send me to the dealership and because of how rude they agent was on the phone I decided to have them pick up the car, Now I am with out a car, 11000 in debt , hope you learn from my mistake and stay away from that dealership, that was not even the car I was trying tobuy, They always ignored my calls during that time and lied that the car was covered under warranty, I am writing a complaint on every platform because I hope some save themselves from what they put me through. BUYER BEWARE – DO NOT BUY FROM PRIME MOTORS IF YOU WANT A SAFE, RELIABLE CAR My brother purchased a 2009 Audi S6 from Prime Motors in Arlington, VA on September 13, 2025 for approximately $14,047 financed SAFE, RELIABLE CAR My brother purchased a 2009 Audi S6 from Prime Motors in Arlington, VA on September 13, 2025 for approximately $14,047 financed through Credit Acceptance Corporation. He also paid $4,000 directly to Prime Motors by debit card for GAP insurance and an extended warranty. Less than 24 hours later, the vehicle began experiencing serious mechanical issues. It stalled on September 14 and would not start on September 15, requiring a tow to an Audi dealership where it sat for 8 days. On September 23, it was towed back to Prime Motors for a fuel pump replacement. On September 24, while driving home, a rear tire blew out due to suspension issues. On September 29, the vehicle broke down completely and never started again. My brother owned the vehicle for 28 days; it was operable for only 6 of those days. While trying to resolve these issues, my 35-year-old brother died unexpectedly on October 12, 2025, leaving our family to handle the financial consequences. In December 2025, an inspection by a Virginia Audi dealership found the car failed the VA Safety Inspection and required over $16,800 in repairs. A Virginia State Police inspection also determined the July 2025 inspection (while the vehicle was owned by Prime Motors) should not have passed. Due to the vehicle’s condition and inability to be registered, Credit Acceptance Corporation repossessed the vehicle and forgave the remaining loan balance. However, Prime Motors has still not refunded the $4,000 paid for the GAP and warranty contracts. The warranty provider confirmed a full refund is contractually required due to my brother’s death within the 30-day cancellation window and has instructed Prime Motors to issue the refund. Despite this, Prime Motors has delayed, issued incorrect partial refunds, and provided misleading information about responsibility for payment. Prime Motors told BBB that they do not control the funds and that refunds must come from the contract administrator. This does not align with what we have been told in writing by the warranty company’s upper management and CEO, who confirmed that Prime Motors is responsible for issuing the full refund, as they received the payment directly. Prime Motors even attempted to claim the contracts were financed, which is untrue. My brother paid $4,000 directly by debit card. They also issued a partial refund, which contradicts their claim that they are not responsible. This situation has required constant follow-up from a grieving family while Prime Motors continues to avoid resolving a clear contractual obligation. We have now filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and are pursuing additional consumer protection avenues. Our experience does not appear to be isolated. We were informed of similar situations and found numerous complaints across BBB, Yelp, and CarGurus describing comparable issues. Based on our interactions, it was clear that both Virginia State Police and Credit Acceptance Corporation were familiar with concerns involving this dealership. All we are asking for is the $4,000 refund that is contractually owed. More

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Prime Motors LLC. I purchased a 2018 Toyota Camry from them in April 2025. I paid $6,000 down, and they added an extra $3,000 claiming it was for repair Motors LLC. I purchased a 2018 Toyota Camry from them in April 2025. I paid $6,000 down, and they added an extra $3,000 claiming it was for repairs done before delivery. I was promised verbally that if any issues came up, they would take care of it. Just one week after the purchase, the check engine light came on. I contacted them more than 10 times, and every time they told me to “come back later” or “we’ll fix it next week.” Eventually, they just told me, “We won’t fix it. Take it to the manufacturer.” The car has serious problems: • It won’t pass emissions due to a bad oxygen sensor. • The engine is weak, and oil had not been changed. • The front axle is unsafe, making the car dangerous to drive. They lied about the repairs, charged me $3,000 for nothing, and now refuse to take any responsibility. This is unacceptable and unethical business behavior. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. Be careful and don’t believe verbal promises — get everything in writing. I’ve already filed complaints with the Virginia Attorney General and DMV.
