We were very comfortable working with Scott and found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I had done my homework and research and knew what I wanted in the vehicle. Scott made it happen! Steve handled the financing and we found him to be very efficient and knowledgeable as well as pleasant. Overall, the experience of purchasing this vehicle was very pleasant and without pressure.

I have called every Kia dealership in my area, looking for a certain Sportage. I contact Kia of Middletown and speak on the phone with Joe Fadden a sales associate there. I ask Joe on the phone about this sportage and he says they have it in stock. I inform him I will be there shortly. Before hanging up I asked about them selling the car at MSRP. He let me know that they can do it but would much rather discuss it in person. I arrive at the dealership and I see the car that I came to purchase. The sticker price was the same as the price online and so far so good. Next to the MSRP sticker is another sticker that says Market adjustment $4000. I reminded Joe of our phone conversation and he said he would work it out with the manager. So already I'm not sure how this is going to go. He writes the deal up and writes it up for the wrong price. $2000 over already. I correct him and the number, we go back outside to verify it and you guessed it here comes the fake market adjustment. "Well my manager came down $2000 off of the wrong price which would be equal to adding $2000 to the right price so it's pretty much the same". I quickly explained that I was willing to make a deal for this car at the sticker price. I do have a trade, it's 10 years old so I'm not being unreasonable and asking for a bunch of money for it. He goes to the manager again and i can hear the manager yelling "hes crazy if he thinks hes not going to pay market adjustment", Joe comes back thanking me for my time. And just like that no deal no car. I believe these are extremely poor representations of Kia's core principles, when it comes to selling cars. It is a stain on KIA and their pristine reputation. The manager's name is Andrew Rodriguez. I believe Joe wanted to sell the car but Andrew and his greed prevented that, and in doing so may have lost a KIA customer. I will try again at another dealership, and hopefully this is not the KIA business model when it comes to selling cars. Do BETTET Kia!

When I politely asked him to not curse in front of my daughter or to speak to his employee that way he cursed at me and told me to go away and was extremely nasty. I honestly could not believe what had happened it was unreal. I am 6 months pregnant and he had me so upset I was shaking. I was literally just about to sign all the papers and needless to say I walked out. I felt bad because the sales person Matt that was helping us was super helpful and great and lost out on his commission because of his sales manager. I never write reviews but felt the need to because this man (Andrew) should not be in his position and I would never recommend ever shopping at this dealership. We left and went to the Nissan dealership in Newburgh and had such a wonderful experience there.

"Big bad wolf? Please reread my response there was no threat or bullying and I apologize if that is how you interpreted it. Just clarifying the situation with facts. Your alignment and tires is the only subject your review and my response was about. So I understand this, your theory is we damaged your car in four different locations some time a few thousand miles ago which put the car out of alignment and ruined your front tires? We offered to pay for your alignment and sell tires at cost which would have totaled to about $300, but you decided to pay $450 somewhere else. Now you want us to perform more work on your vehicle after accusing us of damaging your vehicle, cursing/yelling at our employees and bashing us all over the Internet. I"m confused to say the least as anyone reading this would be. Your strut top which needs replacement is covered under your manufacture warranty and can be performed at any Nissan dealer. I think it best you employ the services of the nearest Nissan dealer to us/you and we will happily forward any information to them they may need. I am sorry it has come to this but we feel at this time and for the future we will no longer be able to service your vehicle. We also feel due to your accusations and demeanor/language towards are staff that any contact to the dealership by phone or in person will be considered harassment and we will pursue the matter legally if necessary. I am writing this with full backing of ownership and our entire management team. We will inform nissan corporate of our decision, please direct any communication through them. Lets clarify this situation. You came in with excessive tire wear on your front tires, we diagnosed the problem as your vehicle being severely out of alignment and causing the excessive wear. There was damage on both the front right and front left side of the bumper, the front passenger side wheel was damaged and damage to the front undercarriage, all of which you refused to go into the shop and see while vehicle was on the lift. After storming out and abusing my staff you contacted the owner and then had a meeting with him, he offered a free alignment and to replace your tires at cost. You refused the offer and accused us of causing the damage to your vehicle which would have had to happen a few thousand miles ago at least to cause the current condition of the tires. The problems you had prior with the vehicle where handled through Nissan corporate and resolved as per the corporate representative. If for any reason this website decides to post this inaccurate and fraudulent review I will make this post public along with documentation of ROs and pictures of the damage the vehicle sustained so at least anyone who reads this will have access to the truth.

Made an appt with Troy Schluter to see a 2009 Kia Forte for $10K. Went in and was told that the car was totaled in a previous test drive which turned out to be a load of bull since a week later the car was listed as "sold" on their website. So next he showed me a 2010 Kia Soul for $11,999 and I loved the car. He sent me on to speak with Frank the Finance Manager who talked me into a warranty and then shoved a bunch of papers in my face and kept pulling them away. When I got home I realized I was charged $13,999 for the car! When I called to speak to Troy, he was nowhere to be found and wouldn't return my phone calls. Next, I spoke to Chad and then to Andy and just kept getting the run around until they finally said "tough luck!" I have never dealt with people as rude and disrespectful as the people at this dealership. I reported it to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and they never responded to the complaint! No wonder they have an "F" rating with them. DON'T GO HERE!!!!

When we got there we were treated professionally and the car we saw was available for the price listed - no gimmicks. We bought the Rogue and the whole process took less than 2 hours including a test drive and learning about our new Rogue. I am glad we found Middletown Nissan and have only good things to say!
