After calling to verify that a car I saw online was still available, I got to the dealership and found out, after a long delay, that the car "was in the body shop" and not available to see. But, I said, you have been advertising it for a month online, and got no response. So I test drove a similar car, and when we got back to the lot, was told that it was just sold, and the car I went for, which was in the shop, was also just sold. How? Did someone buy a car without even seeing it, or was it a bait and switch game? The salesman did not seem to be surprised at the fact that two cars that had been sitting around for a month were both sold the same day. Maybe because one of them was only listed as a way to get people into the showroom. More
