Old car service and new car purchase Took my old car in because the check engine light came on and I knew I was due for other work. Was told about some work that needed to be done but not Took my old car in because the check engine light came on and I knew I was due for other work. Was told about some work that needed to be done but not the reason for the check engine light (transmission code). If I would have known about this along with the other problem found I would not have dropped 1400 into the car. Was not happy at all with the mechanic who did not forward the info on. Ended up purchasing a new car. Salesman and finance guy were great, very helpful and timely. More
