This was profound to me as I was coming from out of state to look at the vehicle. During our conversation I let him know that I would be in the area on Saturday October 1st, he was kind enough to offer to call me if the car had sold or if it would still be available, which he did on the evening before I arrived. When I arrived Saturday morning, Bill was there and worked with me from start to finish even though he was the sales manager. We took the car for a test drive and the rest is history. I was very happy with the Edge, financing and delivery. If I lived in the area, Forrester Lincoln would be the home of my next purchase! More

Special Accommodation Provided by Dealership. After seeing on my computer an automobile at Forrester Lincoln Dealership of Chambersburg, Pa. I wanted to consider buying it. I spoke over the phone After seeing on my computer an automobile at Forrester Lincoln Dealership of Chambersburg, Pa. I wanted to consider buying it. I spoke over the phone with Travis Mummert and asked if he could pull the car 'off ' the line until I could get to the dealership. I live over 370 miles away (Massachusetts), and he made an accommodation for me by doing just that and without any form of guarantee (credit card) request. He trusted me without having met me, that even tho it would be near closing time, he would be there, and so would I. (we did make it but only by non stop driving for over 8 hours). The following day Travis made another accommodation. I asked to have the car put on a garage lift so I could check the condition of the underside. Travis mentioned he'd not been asked that request that he could remember, but would see if he could arrange something for me. He indeed did that also, even tho someone's work schedule was changed or delayed some. The final accommodation was a request to have alterations made to the appearance of the car; (attaching some chrome parts to both sides of the car), and he made arrangements for those changes, so when I returned in two weeks to pick it up, everything was done, and that completed vehicle was right out front and looked "all spit and polish" "Post Script"- After receiving by mail the signed (former owner) title, there was a problem that Bill Mull rectified for me over the phone with me, and fax machine to the Registry of Motor Vehicles of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Overall, I would say the price we paid was about average. What makes Forrester a cut above is the transparency and attention to details. I had contact with at least one other Lincoln dealer who offered a much lower price but then hidden in the details were things like nitrogen filled tires for $200. Forrester's contract was clean with no hidden charges. We paid for what we ordered. When the car arrived, it was completely gone over, cleaned, fluids checked and replaced if necessary. The truth is that the Lincoln MKX was only one of three final choices but the dealership in this instance made the difference. More

Before making the drive, I called up the location and spoke with Mike, who informed that he would put the keys in his desk, if I was interested in purchasing the car. Upon arriving at the location, Mike had the keys in his desk, just like he assured me. While present, I was unbelievably impressed with the 51 year old family business. While taking a test drive of the vehicle, Mike gave me a history lesson on the dealership, as well as the neighborhood. Upon heading back to the dealership and getting ready to purchase the car, there was a misunderstanding on the sticker price of the car and the price of the car online. Even though, the car’s price online was less than the sticker price, Mike and Bill honored the lower car price online. Mike and Bill are 100% honest, straightforward and trustworthy businessmen. These character traits are almost impossible to find in the business world today, but not at Forrester Lincoln Mercury. I have met a lot of business people in my life, but the way Mike handled the entire situation, was legendary. I can’t stay enough of how professional he, his family, their employees and their business is ran. Mike did not try and sell me a car, he advised me on the vehicle and let me make the decision for myself. If you are interested in purchasing a car, I highly recommend traveling the extra distance to see Mike at Forrester Lincoln Mercury. See what he can do for you! More
