leased a vehicle from this dealership and had an incredibly frustrating experience with their service department. While driving on a major highway, a plastic trim piece at the bottom of my windshield suddenly flew off. The car only has 10,000 miles and is in year 2 of a 3-year lease — something like this should not be happening on a fairly new vehicle. When I brought the car in, I was told it wouldn’t be covered under warranty because I didn’t have the part. I honestly have no idea what they expected me to do — stop my car on a busy highway going 60 mph and try to retrieve it? The explanation made absolutely no sense. I emailed the service manager twice. I got one response saying he would get back to me, and then… nothing. No follow-up, no help, no attempt to address the issue. I’m now contacting Nissan directly to try to get this resolved, but after this experience, I won’t be returning to this dealership. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable.
