One thing after another So to start off, I brought my truck in for a 80pt inspection, oil change and coolant flush. My apt was for 10 and I told them I would need to reserve So to start off, I brought my truck in for a 80pt inspection, oil change and coolant flush. My apt was for 10 and I told them I would need to reserve a rental due to the fact I live an hr away. Once I've got the truck dropped off with service I am told I have no reservation for a rental vehicle. Luckily they rental lady had one that just came in. When I dropped my vehicle off. I specifically asked for a synthetic oil change. I have only run synthetic in my truck. After my truck is finally done at 4pm which is a little rediculous if you ask me. I read over my bills to find that I have gotten a conventional oil change. I asked the service advisor who I dealt with. Brent I believe? He told me that I guess I will have to bring it in at 5k instead of 10k now. I wasn't very impressed with that. I do know oils have come a long way in years. But there's reasons as to why I pay for the synthetic oil changes. Also I find it ironic when I come in for an 85pt inspection and as I'm at the lights a km away my belt/pulleys start squeaking. They have tried to fix this before. SEVERAL times. I take care of my equipment as I pay for quality. But when I have a truck that comes out of service and all I can hear is this squeal. It's quite embarrassing. This is the first time I haven't dealt with ryan Rodney I believe his name is. He has always taken care of me. Needless to say. I won't be returning to capital dodge. More

Great Experience! We found that the people we dealt with were pleasant and seem to enjoy their work. We were seen and taken care of as soon as we arrived, I even ask the lady in the snack bar if she liked her job, word for word "I love my job". We dealt with Brent Smith and Ryan Rodney, we were very pleased with their service. Our little Fiat is running like a top! Thank you! More

Customer Service I have been in the construction business since my early twenties. With the exception of one purchase I have always driven a Ford pickup for the past f I have been in the construction business since my early twenties. With the exception of one purchase I have always driven a Ford pickup for the past forty years. On the advice of one of your customers (and a client of mine) I purchased a Dodge product for the first time. With 75K on the clock I had trouble with my transmission. it was under warranty so Capital Dodge covered the warranty repair. This took two weeks. Truck appears to run fine. Even though this was a warranty issue I still had to pay for a rental car. Approx $650.00. I paid $215.00 dollars to have it towed to the dealer. I was told if i wanted my money refunded to contact Roadside Assistance it was not Capital Dodges problem I had asked for the Interior to be cleaned. I was given a price of $100.00 dollars. I said it was a mess and maybe $200.00 was more appropriate. My rep (Brent) said no problem. The interior was never cleaned. When addressing these issues with a manager at his throne desk (Oct 1st 2016) I was given a Gallic shrug. When I opined this would be my last Dodge product he could care or less. So...the truck is not a bad product, but so is Ford. Be assured i will not be purchasing another Dodge product. As i am closing in on the end of my career this is not a big loss for Dodge. Quick mechanical check I booked in a time for the guys to check on a rattle that I was hearing at rpm speeds. I couldn't make it to my appointment so I rescheduled, then I c I booked in a time for the guys to check on a rattle that I was hearing at rpm speeds. I couldn't make it to my appointment so I rescheduled, then I couldn't make my second attempt but luckily I could make it on my third try and they were so understandable! Either way, the checked out the rattle, removed what was causing it and it was done in 30min! Just enough time for me to walk the dog around the area to kill some time. Super nice guys. More

Awesome service Monday I brought my 2015 caravan in for an oil change. I mentioned that for the third time, first time to Brent that my vans suspension was very ruff Monday I brought my 2015 caravan in for an oil change. I mentioned that for the third time, first time to Brent that my vans suspension was very ruff. He had one of the technisions take it for a drive. They replaced some parts and is running much smoother. Also weather striping that I had mentioned in the past and was told was normal (and wasn't) replaced! I was very pleased with the customer service I received. More

They really helped me out whilst I was on vacation Hottest day of the year so far (42c), 7 people in a minivan driving from Toronto to Ottawa. AC breaks and only hot air coming out of the passenger & rear vents. That describes my drive yesterday. First thing this morning I call several dodge dealers in the Ottawa area - no one could look at the vehicle and we were facing a hot and sticky drive home on Friday. My wife suggested that I called outside of the Ottawa area and so I called CapitalDodge in Kanata. 'Wendy' answered the call and immediately didn't say "no" (that is what the dealers had said to me). After a couple of minutes, I was booked in for 10am that very morning ( it was 9:15 when I made the call) I drove to Kanata and was greeted by Brent S., who quickly checked in the vehicles clue and informed me that my van also had a recall on it which they would also take of.Brent also showed my the the guest area where I could connect to wifi and have a coffee. Dave S., the mechanic on my van, kept me informed through the the visit of the progress and diagnosis - even bringing out the parts and showing me what was needed. When all of the work was done, Brent took me through eve thing and even managed to get the charge lower than his initial quote. Finally, after less than 4 hours, I was back on the road - this time with cool AC and the recall performed - Dave even took time to buff out the scratches that I had on one side of the vehicle - fantastic!!! My only wish is that this dealership was closer to where I live - I use my local Dodge dealership from time to time and Capital Dodge are head and shoulders above my local garage for service and friendliness... More

Started out sour, ended up sweet! My daughter had an experience at Capital dodge so negative from the service department it lead me to step in. She bought a 2013 Dodge Dart at Town and My daughter had an experience at Capital dodge so negative from the service department it lead me to step in. She bought a 2013 Dodge Dart at Town and Country Chrysler in Smiths Falls Ont when she graduated college. She has had one catastrophic failure after another, recall after recall! The service department at Town and country Chrysler were not helpful at all and very condescending to her. I will never go back to that dealership even though we have purchased many new Chrysler vehicles in the past from them. Fast forward to June 2016...still having transmission dash lights come on and her car acting up she ended up at capital dodge as she now resides in Ottawa. Initially they ran several diagnostic tests on it, thought they fixed the problem she paid the bill drove away and the problem continued, and continued...now I understand the mechanics were just as frustrated at this car as my daughter was but throwing parts at it to try to fix it was not the answer. I made a call to the service manager Kyle McColl he was more than willing to listen to my version and was extremely helpful in trying to get this issue solved. Next comes Brent Smith service technician extrodanaire! He went above and beyond to not only get the problem fixed but paid for by Chrysler Canada as the bill was way out of reach for my daughter. I will be eternally grateful for the service we finally received and my faith has been restored in not only humanity but Chrysler Canada and the fine mechanics at capital dodge!
