So Bad, I Left the Brand I was leasing a top-of-the-line Cadillac. My service experience at Ettleson had been erratic at best, but the final straw occurred when I brought the I was leasing a top-of-the-line Cadillac. My service experience at Ettleson had been erratic at best, but the final straw occurred when I brought the car in for a scheduled oil change, and additionally asked that they check several problems (all warranty items)— one of which was on its third round, another on its second. Not only were the problems not fixed, but the service rep denied that they existed (or "could not be reproduced") and tried to charge me for performing the diagnostics. I was both frustrated and insulted, to the point that I turned the car back in on the spot. Not only would I never again patronize this dealership, but after having had seven Cadillacs, I have now vowed off the brand. Other premium brands have figured out how to make sure their dealers treat customers properly. More
