Uninformed, unprofessional, and wholly inefficient. Several problems with this dealership, with 2 being standouts. The first problem with trying to negotiate a deal was the sales consultant Muhammad Kh Several problems with this dealership, with 2 being standouts. The first problem with trying to negotiate a deal was the sales consultant Muhammad Khan trying to charge a full $1,495 over the asking price on a used vehicle ($40,495 vs the listed $39,000) with no explanation. The second is the time I wasted through communication, in-transit, and at the dealership only to find out they are uninformed about NY State tax law and tried charging me additional, unnecessary sales tax. They have yet to provide me any real insight of their decision to charge full sales tax when a trade is involved. Fortunately I am more informed in the car sales process than most and contacted the NYS department of tax and finance to confirm there is no tax stipulation that would support their decision. It is also worth noting that I tried to correct them multiple times before traveling to their dealership and received the correct out the door pricing by email before traveling. Even doing 90% of the work for them they still could not get it right. That is true incompetence and I can only imagine the number of out of state customers who have been overcharged due to their unfamiliarity with the customer’s state tax laws. More
