Colonial Honda Sales Experience I had never dealt with Colonial Honda before. A friend at work kept hounding me to go down and see Gordon Winfield. Before we went down I did extensive market research and trade valuation research. We went down and met Gordon and the sales manager (Bubba Rankin). When they came back with the price of the new car we thought the price was just Ok! Then we realized the Sales tax and processing fees, etc. was part of the price quoted. We realized that the price quoted was more than a good deal it was great deal! We were very pleased with the process. No bull, no theatrics just a "let's get the numbers right - right off the bat experience". We haven't experienced the service department yet but the same guy that told me about Gordon and Colonial swears by them. Too many loose ends I came to the dealership knowing exactly what car I wanted so I didn't expect to spend hours there. We had questions on several subjects that sent us to several different 'experts' for answers making the whole process agonizing and some of those experts had no answers even when the document in question was put in front of them. Quick but sloppy I knew the kind of car I wanted when I stepped on the lot so I didn't test any other cars. I wasn't taught very much about my car and my experience felt pretty lackluster. Bubba was a great help, though, and made sure I was happy with my purchase and experience. Now that a few weeks have passed, I'm still happy with my car, but still a bit disappointed in my experience. More
