I came to my appointment 2 days after having shoulder replacement surgery - when I arrived I had to park outside, because both lanes in service bay were full… this wasn’t a problem until, while trying to replacement surgery - when I arrived I had to park outside, because both lanes in service bay were full… this wasn’t a problem until, while trying to carry all of belongings to get to service desk, in one arm, the tech walking through the service bay made eye contact with me, and shut the garage door in my face before I could get inside… after walking around the side door to get in, I stood for 15 minutes in front of the 3 service techs typing in their computers (none were even on the phone) & no one addressed me - finally, I caught one of the service advisor’s eye & asked if he could take care of me… nope, he wasn’t my assigned advisor & I would just have to wait for mine (note: I specifically did not pick an advisor when making appointment) After leaving my car & taking shuttle home - 6 hours later, I still hadn’t heard from anyone & called to find out that my truck was already done… after being told shuttle wasn’t available for the rest of the day due to closing soon, I hired an Uber back to get my truck, where I then received a bill that included a $183 fuel filter - that I was told was $79 by the tech that called to get my authorization - when I questioned the cost, I was told “well, you didn’t ask how much labor would be”…. Really - this is your business practice? If there was any other place I could get my truck serviced while under warranty, I would do it after this experience I have a very expensive truck, with an engine (turbo diesel) that I’m not very comfortable with, and not having a reliable local dealer will certainly make this my last GM vehicle David Cook More

Despite our best efforts, we are still unable to change the contact information from my husband to me for all things related to this vehicle. At every opportunity, we ask that it’s changed, and he continue the contact information from my husband to me for all things related to this vehicle. At every opportunity, we ask that it’s changed, and he continues to receive all calls, emails, mail, etc. We told the salesman when we bought it new that it should all be listed under my name and contact info, and yet here we are 4 years later. The morning of this service I told Caleb to change the phone number to mine and use it to notify me when my Yukon is finished. I watched him write the number down. Only 2 hours later, I get a call from my husband, “I just got a voicemail from Caleb about your car being done.” When I got to the service department, he just asked that I “sign here”. I had to ask about the details of the recall service, the fact that the oil change was completed as part of the recall, and that I needed to use different oil from here forward. I also thought I was supposed to receive an owners manual insert, but that was never mentioned and never received. He was helpful with arranging the loner during the service. More

I was not happy with Caleb at all. I truly feel like he at the very least mislead me and probably lied to me with the price of my repair. I walked in to pick up my car expecting a bi I truly feel like he at the very least mislead me and probably lied to me with the price of my repair. I walked in to pick up my car expecting a bill in the $400-500 range. Instead it was about $2500. I questioned it and he stood there and told me he had told me it was going to be that much. I REALLY think I would have remembered a bill iof that magnitude. At this point I don’t feel like I can trust Caleb and would like him to never work on my car again. Up to this point I have been extremely happy with Barker Buick but not now. More

Took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation, and almost immediately they told me I needed new cabin and engine air filters—despite my OnStar app showing that both were in good condition. The morning after the oil change, my tire pressure sensor light came on, so I called the dealership, and they scheduled me for an appointment the next day. When I returned, I not only witnessed them trying to push the same cabin and engine air filter replacements on another customer, but they also told me the issue with my tire sensors was due to dead batteries and quoted me $300 to fix it. I declined and instead made an appointment at the dealership where I originally purchased my car. They quickly discovered that the mechanic at Baxter had simply reset the sensors incorrectly—the batteries were perfectly fine. Imagine if I had: Paid for unnecessary filter replacements without checking my app, and Spent $300 on a non-existent issue. Feels like a money grab to me. Good luck! More
