Thank you for your review. We would like to clarify the timeline and details of your repairs based on our service records. Your vehicle was towed to our dealership on 01/05/2026. After completing a mechanical inspection, we determined the engine had failed. We immediately opened a warranty claim, received approval, and ordered a brand-new replacement engine. The engine arrived on 01/21/2026, and the repair was completed by 02/10/2026. The repair order was officially closed on 02/12/2026, as the vehicle remained with us until pickup. Based on these dates, the vehicle was in our care for approximately one month and five days, due to engine shipping time, not two months. We did not hear of any additional concerns until 03/27/2026, when you returned with the vehicle after it had sustained significant deer-impact damage. At that time, portions of the body/frame were temporarily secured with duct tape. During our inspection, we found the impact had damaged the transmission pan and broken one of the mounting bolts. We reviewed all findings with you in advance and received authorization to complete the necessary repairs, which included: Removing the transmission pan and gasket assembly Extracting the broken bolt and repairing the threads Replacing the transmission pan gasket and all pan bolts, per Nissan recommendations Refilling the transmission fluid Road testing the vehicle and clearing stored diagnostic trouble codes Once the repairs were completed, we contacted you and arranged pickup for 03/30/2026. At that time, you paid the invoice and took delivery of the vehicle. We also explained that warranty coverage applies to mechanical failures, while accident-related damage is typically handled through insurance. Lastly, regarding ownership history, available vehicle history records indicate the vehicle has had two owners total, including yourself. We always strive to be transparent throughout the repair process and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
