I am 65 years old and have had four Volkswagen's over the course of my life. Loved each and every one. All that being said, I was serious about buying a car on Saturday but, Leith VW was not serious about selling a vehicle on Saturday. The gentleman that worked with us was very kind, VERY knowledgeable of his product and a star in customer service for your company. When we walked through the door, there were two men standing and leaned up against something at the front of the showroom. When we walked back OUT (about an hour later) that door, those same two were still standing there? I could not help but think, is this how this dealership allows customers to see how slouchy they do things? I had said, from the beginning that we were there to buy a car. (In hindsight, I see that I gave them the idea that I would pay anything for something I was interested in). But, for a customer to ask for a measly $900 off the price, we quickly saw that Leith did not want or need our business. My husband also asked about a trailer hitch and the cost involved, so we were most willing to do business then and in the future. I realize we live in a greedy world, but think how many times over, this information will be shared about Leith of Raleigh. All in a negative vain! Why would I ever want to come back for any service when I had been stuck to it in the beginning!!!! We did in fact buy a Volkswagen on Saturday and are very happy with it. One we did not haggle over price whatsoever. I will say however, it was a bittersweet event, buying a car this day and time is one of the costliest investments we make. We should be able to have a positive feeling from it. This time, I must say it made me sad for Leith, Mr. Kim, your upper management and my husband and me. Truely, you will never have to be bothered with us again! More
