⭐ 1 STAR — EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE! BUYERS BEWARE! Cadillac of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey I recently purchased a brand-new 2026 Cadillac Escalade ESV Sport Platinum from Cadilla BUYERS BEWARE! Cadillac of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey I recently purchased a brand-new 2026 Cadillac Escalade ESV Sport Platinum from Cadillac of Englewood Cliffs, and I can honestly say this has been one of the worst car-buying experiences of my life. 1. SALESPERSON DID NOT KNOW HOW TO OPERATE THE VEHICLE After we finalized the deal around 6:00 PM, I spent approximately THREE HOURS, until 9:00 PM, waiting for the salesperson to explain the vehicle’s features. Instead of demonstrating the features professionally, he repeatedly watched YouTube videos, waited for them to finish, and then attempted to explain what he had just watched. Even worse, some of the instructions he gave me were incorrect! This is a luxury Cadillac dealership selling vehicles costing well over $100,000. Customers should not have to sit for hours watching a salesperson learn how to operate the vehicle from YouTube. 2. VEHICLE SOLD WITH AN ADVERTISED REFRIGERATOR THAT DOES NOT EXIST The official window sticker listed a refrigerator in the center console. This was one of the features I expected when purchasing the vehicle. After delivery, I placed water bottles inside the center console and discovered they were not getting cold. When I returned to the dealership, I was informed that MY VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE THE REFRIGERATOR THAT WAS LISTED ON ITS WINDOW STICKER! I purchased the vehicle relying on the advertised equipment. Yet the dealership has not provided the missing refrigerator or agreed to take the vehicle back. How can a dealership advertise a luxury feature, sell the vehicle based on that equipment list, and then tell the customer the feature does not exist? 3. REFUSAL TO CORRECT THE VEHICLE REGISTRATION AND TITLE PAPERWORK I requested that the vehicle be titled and registered under my company’s name and provided the company documentation. However, I discovered the following day that the dealership had prepared the paperwork under my personal name instead. I immediately requested that they correct this issue. Even NINE DAYS AFTER THE PURCHASE, the paperwork had still not reached the New Jersey MVC, as I personally confirmed. Despite my repeated requests to correct the paperwork before submission, the dealership refused to make the change and did not provide me with a satisfactory explanation or identify any specific legal restriction preventing the correction. 4. MANAGEMENT AVOIDS CUSTOMERS INSTEAD OF RESOLVING PROBLEMS After raising these issues, I experienced repeated difficulties reaching dealership personnel. My phone calls went unanswered, and when I visited the dealership in person, I felt that staff members were avoiding me rather than addressing my concerns. I spent a substantial amount of money purchasing a brand-new luxury vehicle, yet I have been treated as though my concerns no longer matter once the dealership received payment. MY FINAL WARNING TO POTENTIAL BUYERS: Think very carefully before purchasing a vehicle from Cadillac of Englewood Cliffs. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. I expected professionalism, honesty, accurate vehicle information, and responsible customer service. Instead, I encountered incorrect product information, unresolved paperwork issues, and extremely disappointing treatment. I am now preparing to pursue legal action to protect my rights and seek appropriate remedies. I have documentation supporting my concerns, including the original window sticker and my communications regarding these issues. BUYERS BEWARE. DO NOT ASSUME THAT WHAT IS LISTED ON THE WINDOW STICKER IS ACTUALLY INSTALLED IN THE VEHICLE. VERIFY EVERYTHING BEFORE PAYING OR TAKING DELIVERY. ONE STAR — AND ONLY BECAUSE ZERO STARS IS NOT AN OPTION. More

Despite the detailed comparison and paperwork involved in purchasing an Escalade, everything was handled efficiently and professionally. This was by far one of the fastest and easiest car-buying experiences I've ever had. I highly recommend Carlton Edwards, Hadi Aridi, and the entire team at Cadillac of Englewood Cliffs.
