All staff members at Gallatin Ford were extremely helpful and courteous. Our Sales team-Chase and Jenna-were AWESOME and really sold us on Ford! And Troy and Tyler were great too! This has been the absolute worst car-buying experience of my life. I live 2 hours away and worked out a deal over the phone before I went to the dealership. When I got to Gallatin Ford I discovered a huge de my life. I live 2 hours away and worked out a deal over the phone before I went to the dealership. When I got to Gallatin Ford I discovered a huge dent in the front of the truck and the interior was disgusting and smelled like smoke. The sales manager offered to knock off the cost of repair for the dent and get it detailed while we were there. The sale process took right at 5 HOURS most of which we were waiting. After about 3 hours the truck came back from detailing it still looked like trash on the inside. I had it detailed when I got home by an actual professional and I was promised later by the sales manager that he would send me a check for the cost of the detail. (I still have not gotten confirmation of this because I can't get a hold of anyone involved with my deal 7 days later) Which brings me to the next HUGE ISSUE. When I left the dealership the Ford F150 lightning that I purchased was not fully charged and I had to stop on the way home to get enough charge to get home. Once home I discovered that these people had sent me home in a electric vehicle THAT WILL NOT CHARGE PAST 50 PERCENT. I called my salesman (Chase) who knew next to nothing about this vehicle in the first place and was very unprofessional at one point the day after the sale when he knows I'm upset about them basically selling me half of a working vehicle he answers the phone "WHAT UP PLAYA". I have all of the calls from the past week recorded as do they I'm sure. ANYWAY I finally talk to the sales manager two days after the sale and requested to cancel the deal and that this was UNACCEPTABLE I can't use a car that only has a range of 114 miles before it needs to charge again. He tells me "no we sell cars we don't take them back" when I ask about the "WORRY FREE POLICY" He tells me I can trade it back but I would have to pay a premium to get my car I traded in back. He then tells me to take it to a local dealership and get it fixed. He offered to send me a loaner vehicle during this process. I AM NOW 7 DAYS INTO TRYING TO CALL THESE PEOPLE EVERY DAY TO GET THIS PROMISED LOANER. I was also promised on day 2 that I would get a warranty offer with 1k off for my inconvenience. IM ON DAY 8 AND I STILL CAN'T GET ANYONE TO CALL ME BACK OR FOLLOW UP. I've been having to borrow a friend's car for work after spending almost 50,000 DOLLARS on a vehicle. I'm still so upset and this has been such an ANXIETY inducing experience for a week straight. I'm up in the middle of the night stressed about it writing this right now because I was trying to give them a full week to fix these issues before I posted a review. IN SHORT: THE WORRY FREE STUFF THAT THEY ARE SO PROUD OF WHEN YOU CALL AND GET OUT ON HOLD IS A LIE I've been worrying for a week straight and it's literally make me physically sick. More
