My treatment during the sales-process was good until the finance-mgr was too persistent about pressuring me to buy extra vehicle maintenance agreements. I had to threaten to stand-up & walk out before he stopped. My overall experience would have been better than average if our sales-rep Bryson had not played games with me when I asked him if the Owner’s Manual was in the car. He quickly answered “Yes,” it was. Upon arriving home and seeing it was not, Bryson said on the phone he remembered seeing it. I drove back to the dealership and asked him again about it, watched him go to the back of the service-dept & look through trash-cans, only to have him ask me if my wife hadn’t seen it in the front seat when we got in to leave in the new car. Finally, after all the shoulder-shrugging & finger-pointing, he tells me there’s no Owner’s Manual in the glovebox with the new Prius, only the digital-version online. Why couldn’t he have just said that the first time I asked him? After asking to see his manager, Luis O’ Farrill, & talking to him about it, he agreed to order one from their parts dept and I could pick it up in a week or so. If these things hadn’t occurred, my review would be different. More
