I checked out other Honda dealers before my first visit/purchase at MS Honda and even visited a coworkers highly recommended dealer before my second purchase at MS Honda (since I was not treated with any priority past the initial test drive at that other dealer). The bottom line is the McKenney-Salinas Honda is not only the the best Honda dealer in the Charlotte area but is hands down the best new/used vehicle dealership I’ve ever visited for any and all of my vehicle inquiries, test drives, and purchases since moving to NC. Yeah sure those other dealers may have more cars but they definitely don’t treat you like family like MS Honda does. No pressure, no games or haggling, just very friendly salespeople and a super smooth and easy finance process. Service department is also fantastic as I never spend more than 45 minutes in the waiting room, barely having time to get a free coffee and browse around the showroom. I bought my Civic from Pete Kienlen in 2015. He was so good and made the normally difficult car buying process completely so stress free that I came back to buy my 2019 Insight from Pete again! Jonathan Zirbel really helped get the numbers to where I could afford this car knowing it is so new that Honda didn’t have any incentive to buy it - other than the crazy good gas mileage!! Then Chris Pressley and Steven Johnson worked with me on all the paperwork. It was super quick, definitely less than 10, possibly less than 5 minutes! Awesome! Congrats to all at MS Honda you now have a customer for life! Keep up the great work! I will get at least one more Honda from you before my kids will need their Hondas in a few years :) More

My request was promptly responded to with an awesome video of the car and a personal introduction from the sales associate. I came in and viewed that car but it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. I stated what features were most important to me and what payment I needed to be at and instead ended up with a new Honda Civic that I absolutely love. It was a completely no hassle environment with an amazing staff! Both David and Chris worked with me thru the entire process. If you are looking for a new or used car you will not find a better dealership to work with!! Very happy with the entire experience. More

When we returned the next day they all knew who we were and our names, we felt like family members. In today's world it is nice when you go to buy a car and they care more about what the customer wants then selling their cars. I bought a used car My experience with the sales staff was excellent and appreciated the flexibility in buying the car. My only concern is with the mechanical staff that My experience with the sales staff was excellent and appreciated the flexibility in buying the car. My only concern is with the mechanical staff that performed the 168 point check on the used cars to label them as Precertified. It is my understanding that for tires to be Precertified on a vehicle, they need to have at least 50% of tread left. The used car I bought did not meet that criteria and had approx. 4mm of tread left. That brand of tire new starts with 11mm of tread depth. The other issue was that on the night I picked up the car, there was a ripple in the right front bumper skin that was not brought to my attention even though I mentioned it to the salesman. I do not fault the sales staff but I do fault the mechanical and cleaning staff for not bringing this to someone's attention in sales to be fixed and corrected. That car should have had new tires put on the car to meet Honda's strict Precertification. I did go out a buy new tires which really made a difference in the road noise and ride of the car. As far as the bumper, the staff that cleaned the car that day could not have missed this imperfection. I got to say the rest of the car was immaculate. This really is an integrity issue for the dealership. Someone pushed the car through. I hope this message does get to the dealership for their review. More
