After a lengthy search online & in person, striking out a 2 other Chicagoland Volvo dealerships, we found our gem - a 2020 XC90 - at Volvo Cars in Lisle. Our rep Chris Gough was really stellar. Very amicable guy and not pushy; knew his stuff about the vehicle and took the time to walk me through setting up many of the tech features of the center & driver displays. This alone saved me tons of time as there is definitely a learning curve to the sophisticated system! What's more - Chris was able to get much of the paperwork started virtually & over the phone before we even stepped foot in the door, a huge help to us as we've got 2 little children in tow. We received what we deemed a fair amount on our well-loved trade in and the whole process was a breeze. More

We told him what our plan was and the car we were interested in purchasing. He gave us a quick and general overview and brought an XC40 around to test drive. When we came back he asked for questions from us and answered them. At no time was there an attempt ho hard close or up sell. After visiting other dealers and several days later we decided on the Volvo and returned to purchase the car. Chris was excellent! After getting the transaction started he went into detail about the features of the car and had the car programmed into “Volvo on call” with my preferred settings. Tommy Korallus finished up the sales paperwork in about 5 minutes. The transaction was, for the first time for me, pleasant and easy. From the initial meeting to the purchase a great experience. Purchased a car from Chris via phone as I was not in state. Because the vehicle was certified and after talking with Chris, I was confident that I was buying a great vehicle. I received the vehicle from state. Because the vehicle was certified and after talking with Chris, I was confident that I was buying a great vehicle. I received the vehicle from the shipper yesterday and when I started it up, the check engine light was on. Very disappointed that I was sold a vehicle with a check engine light on. I took it to my nearby Volvo dealer today and they told me it was the evap purge valve. It was a simple fix but I’m still perplexed at the fact they sold a vehicle to me with the check engine light on. When I talked to Chris he told me, it is a used vehicle so I should expect these types of issues. Although he is correct, should I really expect a check engine light right off the truck, before I even had a chance to drive the car? Disappointing. More

I was in the market for dealers lot car with a few thousand miles in it - and Chris was the definitely the best man for this job! My first stop was Land Rover but after meeting Chris he sold me on a thousand miles in it - and Chris was the definitely the best man for this job!
