Purchased a car from Chris via phone as I was not in state. Because the vehicle was certified and after talking with Chris, I was confident that I was buying a great vehicle. I received the vehicle from state. Because the vehicle was certified and after talking with Chris, I was confident that I was buying a great vehicle. I received the vehicle from the shipper yesterday and when I started it up, the check engine light was on. Very disappointed that I was sold a vehicle with a check engine light on. I took it to my nearby Volvo dealer today and they told me it was the evap purge valve. It was a simple fix but I’m still perplexed at the fact they sold a vehicle to me with the check engine light on. When I talked to Chris he told me, it is a used vehicle so I should expect these types of issues. Although he is correct, should I really expect a check engine light right off the truck, before I even had a chance to drive the car? Disappointing. More

I was in the market for dealers lot car with a few thousand miles in it - and Chris was the definitely the best man for this job! Pleasant, non-pressured sales experience Chris was an excellent salesperson to work with during the process of buying a new car. We told Chris up front that we were going to evaluate sever Chris was an excellent salesperson to work with during the process of buying a new car. We told Chris up front that we were going to evaluate several different competitors' vehicles including Volvo, and he was both understanding and patient through the process. Additionally, my wife had a stroke several years ago and so took more time than normal in helping to evaluate vehicles, and Chris was very accommodating. We must have made at least four visits to either test drive vehicles or discuss options and prices, and there was never any pressure. When we were ready to make a purchase, we got a fair trade-in and a fair deal up front - without having to haggle with a sales manager. He even came out to our house several days after the purchase to help us personalize all the set up options. Overall working with Chris was a very pleasant purchase experience and one of the reasons we chose the Volvo XC60 over several competitors' models. More

My vehicle purchase was a great experience Chris Gough was very helpful and accommodating to my wife and I. We went to Volvo Cars of Lisle to look at a specific car I saw on the website and aft Chris Gough was very helpful and accommodating to my wife and I. We went to Volvo Cars of Lisle to look at a specific car I saw on the website and after meeting Chris, he went and got the car and test drove it. We were not 100 percent happy with it so Chris searched what was available on his computer and showed us a couple others that were in our price range. We test drove another car and liked it a lot. We pointed out that the TPMS warning light was on but Chirs said that he would take care of it after we finalize the papers. We didn't haggle too much on the price and and was approved shortly, Jen the Finance Manager took care of us and was a pleasant experience. After everything was signed, We drove the car to service and they filled the tires with air to get rid of the TPMS warning. After 2 weeks, it never went out so I called Chris and he took care of it and got it fixed. Melissa Ellis from Service got the repairs expedited. Thank you very much to Volvo Card of Lisle for taking care of us. Keep up the great customer service you provide. More
