I had the pleasure of working with an exemplary service writer, Chris Russell. My QX70S 5.0 exhibited a small coolant leak in the front of the engine where a hose attached. This was basically over a year a writer, Chris Russell. My QX70S 5.0 exhibited a small coolant leak in the front of the engine where a hose attached. This was basically over a year after we replaced the entire cooling system. Typical warranty work is one year. Chris looked up the service history and honestly admitted that it was a service warranty issue and would fix at no charge. Another dealership quoted me $1500 to fix the same problem after viewing the same service history since we were out of warranty. See, that honesty is how you retain customers and obtain new customers! Chris didn’t have to admit that, but because he’s a rarity and honest, he’s made me an even stronger customer for Grubbs. Chris put me into one of the new QX80s as a loaner (niiiiicee!! Way above my pay grade for $100k, but what a ride!) and even had my car detailed as compensation for the part being late to come in! Looked like a brand new car! Management of Grubbs Infiniti: keep Chris Russell by all means necessary. He can only benefit and elevate your service team! More
