Be careful of what they tell you. We purchased an older Toyota (2008) and were concerned about it being such an old car. The finance department told us about an extended warranty (w We purchased an older Toyota (2008) and were concerned about it being such an old car. The finance department told us about an extended warranty (which I have never purchased for any car, ever) and I was originally told it went into effect immediately without any validation period. I did some comparative shopping and found that every other extended warranty had a validation period so we asked to make sure. We were told over and over again that the validation was "30 day OR 1,000 miles". This is not the truth as we found out later. I was either lied to or the finance department was incompetent. Either way it has left me dissatisfied. My fault for believing them and purchasing the warranty. My experience with them was good up until I was faced with this issue. Just be careful More
