This dealership definitely treats it's customers with great care and respect. The service department is one of the best in the Binghamton area. We have been customers for about 30 years (8 Subarus, all new). The Subarus are very good, and the Matthews service is excellent, and the Matthews people are excellent. To lead off we needed to keep my son new). The Subarus are very good, and the Matthews service is excellent, and the Matthews people are excellent. To lead off we needed to keep my son's 15-year-old Outback in service until it could be traded in. Zach and his team diagnosed the chief problem with it, Zach gave us a choice and an enterprising lady tech provided a quick and affordable workaround fix until our new car had arrived. This saved us from a MAJOR transportation crisis in the meantime. Rich French pointed out the advantages of a trade-in versus a simple sale; we got an excellent price for the old vehicle. Rich French then picked out the new Outback with a desirable package and color from all the options and advised us on the time to expect delivery. The new vehicle arrived a bit before we expected, the old vehicle held up fine, we were able to schedule a convenient appointment with Rich French to complete the purchase including his recommendations on dealer packages. Rich also directed Nick the car guru to further educate us on all the car's features (we needed a lot of updating). Nick scheduled a further appointment to review our questions. Rich and Nick were also very forthright on what we needed and what we did not need to do (or could ignore). I don't get that very often with any product. I can't think of anything that could have been done better. That's why we come here. More
