dealership. On 1/28/25 I inquired about a vehicle. Around 8 am I sent another email advising that I resided out of state and that I'm 4 hours away, so I advised I would be paying cash and wanted to know the otd price. I received numerous emails from 3 different salespeople all requesting for me to drive to their dealership. Again, I advised I was out of state and requested their otd price and that I would be paying cash. Each salesperson responded requesting that I drove to their dealership and did not provide an otd price. On 1/30/25 I received numerous emails requesting that I make an appointment to come look at the vehicle. What is completely absurd is that I called the dealership on 1/31/25 and was advised the vehicle was sold to the auction the evening of 1/29/25!!! Instead of providing me with an otd price on 1/29/25 (at 8 am) and sealing a deal, they all advised me on 1/29/25 and again on 1/30/25 TO DRIVE 4 HOURS TO LOOK AT A VEHICLE THAT WAS ALREADY SOLD AND REMOVED FROM THEIR LOT!!! UNBELIEVABLE that any dealership has such a lack of communication within their own dealership between sales staff.

NEVER buy a used car at this dealership!
They sold me a car that needed a new transmission and did NOTHING to help make it right. Terrible experience I’m sure ownership never heard about.

35 days after delivery was the first time we were made aware of any "issue". We of course offered for the vehicle to come to our shop to diagnose the "issue" with the transmission. We have a local transmission shop that can do the repairs if we could verify the "issue". We even offered to cover up to half of the cost of repair or replacement. That offer was declined by the customer, he did not want to let us verify the "issue" nor did he purchase any extended warranty coverage on the vehicle.

It is true during the first 35 days after having the car delivered I drove it sparingly and had to wait 2 weeks to an appointment with my mechanic who referred me to a transmission specialist that took another week to get it in. I notified my salesman 2 days after and told him something was wrong and I was having it looked at.
They did offer to have their transmission shop look at it. What they fail to mention is the dealership is 3 and a half hours away and the car was not drivable. It was a very generous offer indeed!
One thing that really upsets me about your response...at NO TIME did Tyler offer me any portion of the cost to replace the transmission. That is simply not true!! I sent my receipt for the repairs asking for anything they could do to help me and was repeatedly denied. (I would love to see a copy of your email making me any offer to compensate me for the repairs. It NEVER happened.).I even offered to pay even more than half the cost and was refused. I still have the emails to prove they rejected all my offers to make this right.
It is also true I did not purchase their warranty. I spent over $20,000 on the car and was willing to accept the possibility things may need to be repaired, its a used car. My point all along is this wqs NOT a warranty issue. The transmission was bad before it left their lot.
It was a horrible experience overall and the fact they now claim to have offered to pay half the repair bill in infuriating! I look forward to seeing the emails where you made me any offer. I even asked to have you cover the brake pads that were also in need of replacement when I got the car and you declined to help with $400 for that!
