The overall car buying experience at Laird Noller Hyundai was typical for purchasing a new/used car in that it took longer than it should. The used Mazda we bought appears to be in okay condition but several was typical for purchasing a new/used car in that it took longer than it should. The used Mazda we bought appears to be in okay condition but several issues occurred that are concerning for the price paid. We didn't make it out of Lawrence before the tire warning light came on. Pulled off the road to check tire psi and then Google how to initialize the sensor. At the dealer before purchasing , I tested the left side of the rear fold down seat with no issues. When showing the car to family at home I put both side down and several family members were sprayed with 30+ shards of broken glass.it appears the rear window was maybe recently broken and the glass wasn't vacuumed up. The spare tire housing was also full of glass shards. Not sure how this was missed during an inspection. Kind of wished I put the right back seat down right now because I would not of purchased, but if the car doesn't have many problems in the near future it will make a good school vehicle. Last comment is your Doc Fee is ridiculous!!!! More

August 8th, 2025, Deceptive, the car had damage that was not shown in pictures. My wife and I drove from Wichita with a tow dolly that we rented to bring the car back. Immediately upon viewing the car, the not shown in pictures. My wife and I drove from Wichita with a tow dolly that we rented to bring the car back. Immediately upon viewing the car, the damage was from bumper to bumper, on each bumper and the body. The windshield had two very visible rock pits that obstructed your view. No way would we have driven for two hours to Lawrence if they had displayed the actual pictures of the car. This is by far the worst experience my wife and I have ever had trying to buy a car! Then they had the nerve to text me about purchasing a car from them, so I blocked that number! More

They didn’t want me to pay cash for the purchase, in fact they tried convincing me to finance the purchase. Also they tried to screw me out of $500’s. Cowen was very knowledgeable and was not forceful in his sale. I was also impressed with the various managers and all in all it was a painless process. I almost gave up on Hyundai‘s due to the Topeka service. It’s just not very good and I was losing confidence in the car.
