Ordered a 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz SE on July 31 2023 and trading in a 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport with 5500 miles that was due to arrive on August 31 2023 and gave the BDC SALESPERSON Tim a copy of my Drive trading in a 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport with 5500 miles that was due to arrive on August 31 2023 and gave the BDC SALESPERSON Tim a copy of my Drivers License and Insurance Card and my Credit Card # he asked for $500 so I secured it at Sticker Price with no Dealer Ad on packages or Dealer Fees then I was informed that the delivery date was moved to Sept 7th 2024 which was ok, ,today August 9 2023 I’m informed that now it’s going to be October 10 2023 or possibly later so we talk about another 2024 coming in on August 22 2023 which is $2000 more but I agreed because I want one as fast as possible so we go over all the figures and suddenly it’s $300 over Factory Sticker so even though it really bothered me I agreed to pay the additional cost over Sticker so I tell Tim to transfer the deposit over to this one which he said no problem then his Manager says they want a commitment from me for $500 and it can only be in person at the dealership which is 1 1/2 hrs away then he tells me the Manager said it’s a new law in Florida in the last 2 weeks that it’s against the law to take a CC deposit over the phone at Automobile Dealerships in Florida which is a flat out lie..This has given me such a bad taste in my mouth about this Dealership that I’m not sure I even want a Hyundai Santa Cruz anymore BEWARE WHEN DEALING WITH THIS DEALERSHIP HYUNDAI of CENTRAL FLORIDA IN CLERMONT BECAUSE THEY WILL FLAT LIE TO YOU!!! And The Sad Think Is I’m A Strong Buyer And Buy New A New Car Every Year I’m 70 and Figured It Might Be My Final Automobile Purchase. More
