Safety concerns dismissed despite documentation I worked directly with Joe W., Service Manager, during multiple service visits in 2025 related to vibration, braking, and steering concerns on my 2018 worked directly with Joe W., Service Manager, during multiple service visits in 2025 related to vibration, braking, and steering concerns on my 2018 Hyundai Sonata. Despite repeated symptoms and ongoing complaints, I was advised that “no safety concern was found.” Subsequent inspections and documentation from other facilities later identified issues that had been missed or not verified, including axle torque conditions and inadequate post-repair verification. Several safety-critical repairs performed during this period were followed by minimal or no verification test driving, sometimes as little as 0–1 mile, based on service records. I maintained detailed documentation throughout, including repair orders, mileage logs, and independent findings. These materials are now part of an active Hyundai corporate case. As a service manager, accurate verification, documentation, and escalation of unresolved safety concerns are critical. Based on my experience, those standards were not met. More

I scheduled to have the oil changed and drove the car for about 600 miles and checked the oil and it had burned more than a new car should have. I am very disappointed with my purchase as this is the only car I have now. I purchased it for reliability. I am one dissatisfied customer. I have to bring the vehicle back on a regular basis to find out why it is burning oil so quickly. I am very disappointed. More
